Your about to pay 50m for a striker thats proven to be utter mince.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Versus
80m Euros for a striker who has proven nothing in PL?
Yeah, makes sense that!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll take my chances with the unproven lad over the proven to be jobbies lad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said Klopp while handing out close to 100m Euros
Good deal, said the seller, you sure know a bargain when you see one
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's 64m to start 😂 that's Ndombele $. Amazes me hate Liverpool get for for spending money they earn from success. Liverpools net spend per year is unreal.
Robertson was just a hull player. Matip a free transfer. Salah a Chelsea flop. Mane another Southampton player. Trent a youth player that can't defend etc. There's a reason Liverpool fans trust klopps judgement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs current front 3 cost a whopping £22m combined - more or less a quarter of Nunez
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How does their £/trophy work out?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Err...Wrong subject for your lot?
1/4 billions spent only on front players for 1 title in 30+ years isn't a good reading dude?
Look at City. They also spend like Liverpool but they win it almost every year

OP def wins best 5hitpost of the day 😂
Spurs are linked with a championship rb who's crosses make Aaron lennon look like David Beckham and a Brazilian from Everton for over 50 mill. I'd definitely wait til I saw who arrived at spurs, and for what amounts, before I fired shots at a club that bought a striker from their CL winnings.
Same spurs fans crying Liverpool have spent 64 million on a striker have been getting excited spurs finally have a 150 million transfer kitty to spend! 😂 gotta chuckle.

I remember when we signed a left back from Championship side Southampton, or a CM from Zagreb that Wenger of all people said was too small.
People still criticise TAA due to his lapses of concentration in defence, but he is young and can improve as can Spence.
Everyone starts somewhere, nothing wrong being a young player starting off in the Championship

No but paying a supposed 20 million for a rwb who cannot cross seems a bit weird at this point of the rebuild. May be a cracking signing but when spurs have finally got a transfer fund they've craved, signing a guy who will be 34 next season, a gk who isn't first team and an Everton striker for over 50m, well it's probably best not to throw stones at other clubs activity.
Seems weird. One team spending what they've earned. One team getting their owners to do a cash injection to get a kitty, whilst the current targets/signings are hardly blowing fans away.
Most spurs fans are sensible tbh and I hope they do well. Just don't get this rivalry on here between the teams as I don't see it irl.

Maybe instead of spunking all their money on a NFL stadium they could have invested in the team and maybe(?) won something.

The keeper cost nothing and matches what we have done for a while - low signing fee/loan for a second choice keeper. It’s irrelevant.
Richarlison is just one of the strikers we have been linked to - could easily be a nothing story, we have had similar ish links with Jesus.
The right back was one of the outstanding players of the Championship last year - making team of the season. If that’s who Conte wants then fine by me.
If by the end of this week we have Forster/Perisic/Eriksen and Spence for £20m then that is outstanding business and will leave us serious funds to sign the CB/CM and back up forward player we need to compete.
Form table had us 3rd last season from when Conte came in, and now he is getting a load of money, what’s not to be happy about

Ndombele, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Soldado, Sanchez… just from the top of my head
Bottleham Flopspur must lead the way in PL duds
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Son, Berbatov, Modric (as many CL as Liverpool) Bale (as many champions leagues as Liverpool, Loris.
We have also signed some of the best talent the Prem has ever seen and in Bale and Modric’s case, some of the best talent European football has seen. That little bundle of players amounted to £62m - about 2/3 of the Uruguayan Rondon
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s an impressive list of players…what’s their £/trophy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
12 Champions leagues
1 World Cup
Whatever Berbatov won at United - at least as many Premier league titles as Liverpool have ever won though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely this is desperation? Do we now need to list the achievments of xabi alonso, mascherano, sterling, suarez to keep this weird argument going?
Congratulations on winning the "our ex players won loads elsewhere" award. You must be thrilled.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is fookin desperation from the usual bitter Spurs fans.
Maybe instead of spunking all their money on a NFL stadium they could have invested in the team and maybe(?) won something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe we should inject £150m into the club for transfers this summer as we have one of the top 5 managers in the world
Oh, hang on a minute
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Half will be spent on a championship wing back who can’t cross and a Brazilian who spends more time on the floor than morespunks mothers panties

Sure you could do that. But from what I read on this board there could be one problem with that. Mr. Levy's reticence in spending money on the team.
Not read the replies but Spurs have spent half a billion in the last five years.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember when we signed a left back from Championship side Southampton, or a CM from Zagreb that Wenger of all people said was too small.
People still criticise TAA due to his lapses of concentration in defence, but he is young and can improve as can Spence.
Everyone starts somewhere, nothing wrong being a young player starting off in the Championship
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No but paying a supposed 20 million for a rwb who cannot cross seems a bit weird at this point of the rebuild.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The keeper cost nothing and matches what we have done for a while - low signing fee/loan for a second choice keeper.

Maybe we should inject £150m into the club for transfers this summer as we have one of the top 5 managers in the world
Oh, hang on a minute

Sure you could do that. But from what I read on this board there could be one problem with that. Mr. Levy's reticence in spending money on the team.

Not read the replies but Spurs have spent half a billion in the last five years.
