Don't care about the shirt number, just hope the wage isn't true.
You would think a big club like arsenal would be able to afford a new shirt for the lad.

Giving Eddie Nketiah £100k a week and the no14 shirt is like giving Stephen Hawking one of Usain Bolts 100m gold medals.

Or replacing David Attenborough’s narrative voice with Stephen Hawkin

This is a mistake, re-signing Nketiah if we’re aiming for Top 4 is a backward step, he’s simply not good enough. Seriously, can you think of another team in the top 6 that would be keen to sign him ?
Exactly…🤦♂️
Who cares about shirt numbers?!
He's going to be our 2nd choice CF behind Jesus, the shirt number is irrelevant.
And 100k pw nowadays is the going rate for a PL forward, especially at a huge club like Arsenal where the pay structure is the way that it is.

Isn't that what he wanted at Palace? That's why the move fell through?

He'll be very hard to shift on those wages if things don't work out
Seems an unnecessary risk for a player who's never shown he can play as a CF that brings others into play (which is the first requirement of a CF in our current set up)
He has scored 10 PL.goals in his time at Arsenal
Years after Wenger's wage policy was proven a total failure, we still offer mediocre squad players and deadwood ridiculous wages which means that when they flop, it's extremely difficult to get them off our books cos no club would sign them for what we're paying. Even with wage inflation, no way we should be offering this guy 6-figure wages.
