A mid table finish would be nice! Less stress
Can't wait but we have a ton of work to do still. Looks like it could be a London bidding war for raph. Love him to stay but rather he stayed in the prem than go to broke assed barca. 60-65m would be decent.
Hope Leeds can keep Phillips tbf what with city sniffing round
Lots of noise our side (Spurs) that we are really pushing to sign Raphinha and willing to meet the £65m valuation.
If the above happens do you expect to spend all of this in addition to the signings you have already made or will this offset some of those signings?
Also if Raphinha is sold, would you still sell Phillips this summer do you think?

I doubt we'll spend much beyond £80m this summer, so anything we get for Raph will just offset that.
I don't think that the Phillips question depends solely on money, so selling Raph won't impact that much. It's all a question of Phillips having his head turned by City.
Our club wouldn't stop him progressing his career, so if Phillips wants out, we would just have to get what we could for him.
If both go, then I can see us wasting tens of millions on panic replacements who are either past their best or unknowns.
Wow stay positive 47 LOL
I don't believe the club have entered any contract talks with KP so who can blame him for wanting a better wage (miles more than hes on now). Its a short career.
Have to think of Phillips now around the England team, he's more than likely the lowest paid England player, why should he not want/expect more?..
And I think he'll have a cabinet he wants to put some trophies in!..
As for the coming season, going to be crap knowing there's a break somewhere around Christmas time that shouldn't be there!..

Dont think we'll have any panic buys this year. our business so far seems very methodical.
i would sell kp in a heartbeat for 45-50m.
what are peoples wants, dreams & aspirations?

Priority:
Stay up.
Secondary:
Keep building toward the goal of being
in the Prem for a very long time.
Tied to that:
Back Marsch and hope he's a huge success.
Signings prove shrewd and capable.
Progression in youth development.
Further the healthy financial state of the club.
Announce development of the ground going ahead.
Yellow away kit.
Additional:
Bamford stays fit and has a blistering season.

file that one under dreams but man i hope so.
we missed him so much last year.
What I want
Leeds finish 9th
Top scorer- Bamford
Lots of clean sheets
Playing the bielsa way
What I think will happen
Struggle first up (esp if we don’t adequately replace rapha and Phillips)
Jesse sacked around World Cup
Next man will keep us up
I know what you mean Kammy,, the summer always seems to last an eternity with the interminable boredom that is Wimbledon being shown wall to wall on BBC1 thru' 7. When will this end for god's sake? Why does a fortnight last a millennia and why don't they just stick it under the red button where it belongs?
As for Leeds, I hope that we sign 11 more Rasmus', he looks the business, keep Jack and use the money from the sales of both KP (who I cannot see getting much game time at City) and Rapha to better balance the squad.
I think we will struggle, I think Jesse will be sacked but I hope the owners give the new boss enough transfer window time to strengthen the squad. All in all though, I think we will be OK.
More game time for Joffy has to be on my wish list and I hope the U21's get promoted back to the top table in the Premier League 2 new format. Maxi Dean to continue to improve.

You think we're only going to spend another 30 million this summer? Seems very unrealistic. i'd imagine we'd be looking at 50-60 to replace Kalvin and Raph.
Right now, I'd be happy between 13th and 9th. I think that's achievable.
A comfortable stress free season.
I'm hoping JM proves the doubters wrong and with his own mark stamped on the side with half a dozen new additions we are a solid tough to beat mid table outfit who do the double over Man U.
Given our situation last year I think they’ve raised they need to spend to stay in the EPL so have planned to add to the squad big time this year and would expect them to be looking at a bill of c£100m for that.
if Raphinia and Philips both go and we get £100m+ I’d think the board WILL spend at least half of that, on top of what they’ve clearly earmarked.
£150m .
Or I might be wrong 🤪
Penshawdave….. think you should set up a sweepstake like you did for relegation points towards the end of last season!! How about it??
Out of all the things to hope for, yours is for Jesse to give our chanpionship / league 1 standard kids a shot 🤨
How about, football close to how it was in our first season in there, or how about a cup run to Wembley? How about beating Man Utd home and away or being Liverpool at Anfield .....

We are all probably judging JM on what we saw last season which is a bit unfair given they weren't his players. With a decent transfer market and working his system with the players we may be better than you'd think. Let's hope so

I'm very skeptical of him but he's our manager so I'll back him
Can't go by last year for sure. Not only because he didn't have his players but couldn't implement his style because of our situation.
We don't want to go back to manager of the month like it was pre bielsa.
So unless he's an absolute disaster I hope he gets at least the full year.

Not sure about others Shaun but I don't want to be Liverpool at Anfield!..
I'm hoping Jesse Marsch will figure out how to make us harder to beat, so that we're not shipping so many goals all the time. Don't get me wrong, like all of us on here I loved Bielsaball, and what a treat those three years were. But we disintegrated last season and it's very important we show much more resistance in midfield and at the back.
So, 13th and hard to beat would do me for a season, give us a solid base on which to build.
