Just watched the Elbow set. Great stuff as usual. Proper festival band.

Yes they were very good

I'm never a big fan of crowd participation at these things. No problem with singing along if you're enjoying yourself but all this "right let's here you sing this" crap gets on my t1ts. It should be impromptu, Elbow are terrible for it. Alot of money has been paid to watch these people perform so they should get on with it.

I saw the Fall more times than I care to remember and dear old Mark.E Smith never asked the audience to help out.

Agree if I’m watching a set on TV but when you’re there those are usually the memories that stay with you or stand out the most when you hear the songs again years later.

Nah, always evolving, its just the way it is and should be. I was watching the orb and orbital headline in the 90s, it changes, it'll be different again in 10 years.

Dreadful line up really, watched quite a few acts. Jack White was good, he’s always full of energy, I agree it should be a good mix of music and every type, would be better if they just had a stage for each genre and even had a country stage too. Kendric Lamar is just awful, you need a massive band headlining, no idea how Billy Elish and McCartney were considered.
