He’s not great, he wouldn’t get in our starting front 3, but he’s a versatile and capable forward who would be a good squad player for a top 6 team. He’s certainly not crap and he’s better than Calvert Lewis all day.

He would do well at Liverpool playing in rotation with Nunez, Salah, Diaz and Jota now that Mane/Firminho are done.

That’s his station, a rotation player. If he were to come to Spurs he wouldn’t oust Son, Kane or Kulusevski. But he would be a very capable 4th choice in rotation and that’s what the modern game is all about - competition for places and quality in depth. If you can’t see that having had the added options of Jota and Diaz to the established Mane, Salah, Firm trio then there is no hope for you.

You should be more interested in how Liverpools attack will work next season with Nunez as Andy Carroll MKII, Jota forced out wide where he’s ineffective and Salah playing within himself as he winds his contract down. And worlds best Jan signing ever Diaz getting out performed by Kulusevski again who nobody had ever heard of.

So why are you calling him an average pl striker when he isn’t one? The fact he can play as a striker, and better than DCL does, is just another reason why he’s a much better footballer than DCL - who is only useful if he has a tap in or a header from inside the six yard box.

spends an article clowning Richarlison then hyped up DCL, definition of one season wonder. DCL would actually be fine for a top club squad player, I rate his work rate and he has a unique aerial ability that makes him good plan B. But he has zero to no technique and during his purple patch most of his goals were pure scrap

We’re be fine don’t you worry about us, I think Klopp knows what he’s doing.
Diaz was rotated while he settled in and we had a mad schedule but he won a couple of trophies.
He’ll be a regular starter this season, let’s see how they get on this season
