I find the Juranovic rumours strange. He didn't really stand out for me last season? Honestly didn't watch any Celtic games except OF ones, but the impression I got was that he was good without being one of the standout players in the squad? Being a definite improvement over Ralston is hardly enough to qualify for a big move.

Thankfully the Celtic fans watched him and highly rate him.

Seems a solid, very tidy player. Not as good as Tav, or even Barisic going forward, but think he’d be more capable than either of them at stepping up for Atletico. Hope he goes.

It's odd having no qualifiers, a manager you trust to get signings right and knowing we can spend with guaranteed CL money

If the plan is to sell him, which it always is, then we should do it quickly and source a suitable replacement.

Would be a disappointing departure no doubt, if there’s any truth in it. That’s the model we’re operating though … if a club like AM come in then he’s gone, for the right price. Sure we’ll have another midget lined up anyway though.

It's good to know that you're not letting it bother you.

Europe matters to a point. If you're in the europa or conference you expect to get to knockouts. Champions League you ought to expect that you're going not much further especially as a fourth seed.

Cups are always important but again in the context of I'd rather win leagues. Like I'm sure celtic supporters are more upset at missing a treble than not winning the Scottish Cup. Had the league Cup been lost in November or whatever the cup loss would be really pretty easily brushed off.

I fully expect him to stay this season, he is content and he has nailed his place in the Croatia squad, apparently Athletico are after a number of RBs but finding their preferred options on the expensive side, they probably think they can throw a cheap offer at Celtic but they will get the message that he won't be going anywhere in the cheap.

Still don't understand how we managed to sign JJ in the first instance. Croatia RB & for small fee - a great piece of business. If he stays I suggest he'll be up there for POTY come next May.
