for all we know the fee agreed for Alli in feb (40mil with add ons) was for accounting purposes now now its written off for more accounting reasons.

Perisic will be good for a season, and Bissouma is quality but the others don't improve the 11 at all. Spence has some pretty big holes in his game for Contes system and richarlison, lenglet and spence seems a strange way to blow 80m.

Richarlison - £50m add one could take it to £60m
Lenglet is a loan- so probably £3m loan fee
Spence - £15m
The thing about Richarlison is that he covers all 3 forward positions for us, so we only need him rather than a couple of players.
Lenglet is going to be loaned because we could not get one of our 2 first choice targets - Bastoni, Gvardiol. I believe the clubs thinking is we will be back next summer.
Spence I don’t really get and I’ve never seen more than 20 mins of him, but we’ve been chasing since the start of the window, so someone, somewhere in our set up likes him.
We’re also being told that another CB is likely to come in - Bremer or Skriniar most likely and an attacking mid.
What I like about our business so far is that we’ve mostly bought Prem proven and 2 walk straight into our first team. Richarlison gives us cover.

Yeah think you are right on lenglet. Just a treading water, fills a spot, kinda signing. Just worry that conte is showing signs of same logic that helped him burn 200m plus of Romans cash on trash. Spurs can't afford that.
Maybe I'm just thinking with 150m plus sales, and contemporary looking to shift plenty, that a superstar or two mightve been an option. To then get a striker from a team nearly relegated that likes fighting his own teammates is a bit of a let down

I def thought it was a dumb move for sure. I don't think anyone under 10m nowadays gets fans to excited with high levels of expectation. Market has gone mental.since then though hull would probably quote 30m nowadays!

theres still plenty of bargains out there.
What I can say having seen BOTH neco williams (a lot) and Spence (seen in coupe of fa cup games) is that one a top 4 club has and is demanding 15mil (and not getting it) and the other is a player at boro who are demanding 20mil... neither can defend.
Theres bargains to be had out there but you have to stand your ground at times.
LFC have absolutely ROBBED fulham for elliott and Carvalho. same deal. see the talent wait for right contract point and pounce.
LFC are now waiting for a CM. wait til the contract is right and pick form 3 or 4.
spurs have to assemble the team conte wants now so will pay the premium to do so. I think they got a bargain on bissouma for a couple of reasons so if it goes their way its going to offset cover paying for richarilson (if they are doing so)
for all we know the fee agreed for Alli in feb (40mil with add ons) was for accounting purposes now now its written off for more accounting reasons.

Some players have baggage like Suarez for example, what a player he was but had some real negative sides, the biting and racist incidents
Richarlison for me not only is a horrible bloke and has some of the worst on field antics you’ll ever see but he’s not a good player so why on earth would anyone want this clown
I’d love to here from Spurs fans as their top two are not only superb buy both seem like really decent blokes so why bring in this moron
