Thx man
Multiboard 4skin gets no respect.
In a way Kane at Spurs has the same kind of impact as Maradona at Napoli, currently, now that he's dead and can't win them trophies like with Kane at Spurs.

I must admit, a sublime 2nd goal...but,
he had already soured for ever his reputation, what a nonce.
Furssed gol wuz even moor betterer
Grate moovement n interplay finish off with a grate hedder
Honestly think it soured Shiltons reputation more than Maradona
Anyways
Artical is about naming mosed iconic player 4 ur tesm, not about Maradona
Most iconic for me was Cantona. But I think a lot of it is defined by when you were growing up. I'm sure it would have been Best if I'd grown up in the 60s
Growing up it was Zola, i was obsessed with the fact he did that back heel goal when i was a kid
Closest I can think of growing up is John Barnes. Although Barnes was probably the better all round player.
Maradona was famous for cheating and a few YouTube flicks
Steve Bull probably for us. 306 goals, two seasons with 50+ which I don't think anyone has done since.
Before my time, but undoubtably Alfredo Di Stefano.
As well as the famous 5 consecutive European Cup titles, Madrid won La Liga 8 times in his 11 years there.
What isn't so widely known is that when he joined Madrid hadn't won a league title for more than 20 years.
He scored in every one of those five European Cup finals too.

On the other hand, Maradona stood up for the oppressed and marginalised.
