I'd like to see if ETH can get Sancho playing well on the right... I can see Rashy's being pivotal this season.

Absolutely triggered by the centre back arrangement

No idea how good this side would be but I'd like to see it. Suspect Dalot will be preferred to AWB. I'm especially intrigued as to what ETH intends to do with the midfield. Pretty sure it would be FDJ picking up the ball from defence, not McT. But there will be a lot of vertical fluidity in the midfield, so the one who is least talented / most energetic could be ahead of the deepest midfielder in some phases and behind him in others.

De Gea will only have to dive in one direction at least

Doesn't Martinez play on the left side of centre? Also I highly doubt Malacia is going to be starting for us any time soon.

I'm really hoping EtH can get more out of some of our players with proper coaching built round systems he wants us to play over the coming seasons but I'm not too sure about AWB or McTomminay just yet, maybe you can play Fred instead of McTominay with FDJ sitting slightly deeper to control things leaving Fred to break up play and move it on.

I really hop we see an improved Rashford this season too, also don't want to competely give up on Sancho playing on the right.

I'm sure we'll find a way to convert Antony to LW too!

Bruno wouldn't make a great false 9 for me. He works hard enough to play it but I think we'd lose the best part of his game by playing him there.

I'd say that's our strongest team right now if you take Ronaldo out of the picture which we may as well do.

Malacia could well push for starting birth but can't say I know much about him.

Lisandro Martinez, if we get that one done, could slot into the defence or DM.

We 110% need a new striker.

He can keep the ball. It's called coaching. He just tries Hollywood balls too often. Ten Hag will knock that out of him within weeks.

The line up in the OP is still weak in defence and midfield.
