On the gender question - and apologies if you know all this already, but there I’ve encountered many people on here who didn’t/don’t - you’re aware that since the earliest records of human civilisation, in pretty much all corners of the world, across tribes and religions and civilisations, societies have recognised multiple genders, inter-sexx and inter-gender people, trans people, asexxuals and other distinct sexx and gender identities? Contemporary Amazonian tribes do, the Biblical era Middle East did, Native Americans did when the Europeans rocked up on their shores, early East Asian civilisations did… This isn’t a new phenomenon.

I haven’t watched the documentary you mentioned, but will look it up.

When I need milk, I go to my grocers not my butcher . So, I tend to not go to JP for information about climate change. But I respect he migt have an opinion just like my butcher might have an opinion on milk. But I don't say that since his opinions on milk is wrong then he has no right to talk about meat.

Peterson also isn’t a scholar of evolutionary biology, physiology, political science, gender studies, anthropology or sociopolitics 🤷‍♂️

And he hasn’t managed to persuade me, from any of what I’ve seen, that he’s really bothered seriously reading up in any of those areas before forming his opinions.
