I never said anything to Boris. The idiot that is that RB&W guy tried to have a dig about about the definition of a treble but spelt treble incorrectly. So was asking him what his definition of 'trebble' was.

What you should be saying is if RB&W chooses an article about United, in the 60s, which from you are always an interesting read, to have digs at other clubs, then he should do it on another thread.

I came here to read the article as I always do, giving it five stars as I find these interesting.

Don't you think City fans think Lee Summerbee and Bell were a 'trinity' of your own at the time. I fact I know they did, and so do you.

It wasnt a Gobshite insult. It was a recognition that the title of this thread could be antagonistic to City fans as the Manchester Trinity 52 is describing is in fact, called the United Trinity. There is no Manchester Trinity

As for the comment about Liverpool and The Treble. Yes, that was a dig. And yes, in Manchester we know the real meaning of The Treble when it comes along.

One day I will get the Trinity right, the United one. But probably not after half a bottle of Chablis, and toasting Mick and Ray in Calvados.
Still they are clear in my memory notwithstanding the alcohol.

This period of football is before my time.
I was around but the football wasn't .
During these years I was a young boy dreaming of a career in hockey and following the Montreal Canadians.
Keep the articles coming 52 I find them interesting and I hope Leeds and man utd can get that rivalry going again.
But I like these articles

Secondly, I read most articles on this website but don't usually comment unless there's a dig about my club included.

I liked Summerbee and Bell but Francis Lee suffered from a form of vertigo. Every time he got high up the pitch, within 18 yards of the goal, he would fall over. His name in Chinese was Lee Wun Pen.
