Why has it taken so long for a decent team to sign him?
Seems to have been linked with top clubs every window for about a decade now and talked about as one of the best CBs around.

If he was so good, clubs would have paid the insane prices Napoli were quoting for years. Utd spent just as much on Maguire as they could of on Koulibaly.
Napoli’s owner is a priiick plus Koulibaly is loyal I think.
Very decent. Always wondered why he has never made the step up to a big team, he's 31 now. Will be interesting to see him in the PL. Certainly physical enough to cope.
Good signing. Should get a good two years out of him too.

Around 40 mill apparently Mike. Can’t say I’ve seen much of him, all signings from abroad are gambles to me. Comes with a good rep though.

Well, we won't know that until he plies his trade in the Prem. It kills me to say it but VVD is one of the best defenders I've ever seen, I hope Koulably turns out to be a better player.

We’ve played Napoli a few times in the CL in recent years and he’s looked very good and at times excellent.
Not totally sure on Ake but Sterling and Koulibaly are excellent signings imo

It's another Thiago Silva for me, every time I've watched him he's just got the aura of a Chelsea player & I know I'm not the only one who thinks that (I've even seen non-Chelsea fans agree). I think it's the blend of pace, power & being African
Like Silva it's too late but I don't give af, top player & very fitting signing.
