Lets hope RB have their package in order, because according to Max they had it all wrong in Austria. Hopefully they have their speed back and they will be closer to Ferrari to give them a fight.
Paul Ricard was traditionally a strong track for Mercedes in the hybrid era, I don't imagine it will be all that bumpy a track so I can see them doing well this weekend, despite everything being said about rule changes for porpoising etc.
Still question marks over the reliability of the Ferrari's after Austria, could come back to bite them again
Max had a strong showing here last season
All setup to be a good weekend
This should be another easy race for Red Bull.
I’m not sure Ferrari can risk any more engines so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them turn their power units down to conserve them.
Mercedes have upgraded nostrils… let’s see how that works out for them
Mercedes have upgraded nostrils
Not sure what that means or implies?

Austria wasn't easy though, no race really has been easy though bar Miami
the redbull has had updates to make it more suited to Max.... its got a far more pointy front end which he likes.
However with these updates the tyres have been getting shredded. The RB was shocking making the tyres last in Austria, even when Max was out in fresh air.
Its far from a foregone conclusion

merc update to the nose....
think they are trying to disguise this dog as a BMW now !!
The vast and natural progression of Mercedes should see them challenging for top of the podium throughout the second half of this season...especially at this circuit where it's smooth, going to be extremely hot track temperatures, and high deg...which favours Mercedes set-up which tends to look after their tyres far better than Ferrari & RedBull.
Understanding of bouncing and porpoising have ensured that they cut the gap from 1 second at the beginning to a couple of tenths behind now and have the best engine / power unit reliability.
Bigger performances upgrades will still be coming.
Sainz 10 place grid penalty for the race.
Engine penalty? Must be on his … 4th?

Third Control Electrics penalty.
Who are Mercedes going to crass into on lap 1?

Or blame
Listening to pundits at P3 they are really creaming over Ferrari and downplaying RB. Annoys me. Just be objective.
Gather from Haas really has this classic accent German accent. Almost Hollywood style. Like hearing a Dutchman speaking English.
Love the visiuality of this track
Max very far ahead of Ferrari in P3
Some great racing in the W series

Yeah watching that now. Much closer together. Even last car can still win.
Poor poor mick, has there been a replay?
Pundits really have shifted their creaming over Mercedes to creaming over Ferrari
