Thought you called it an A a week ago?
I would give the window so far a D or a 5/10
None of the 3 signed a starting XI, they are decent squad players based on the info we have seen so far. I would say depending on the system possible that Eriksen is a starter but thats up for debate.

Nope. Think it was a B then.
Pretty obvious Martinez has been bought as a starting LCB.
C at best, as things stand. No issue with who we have brought in but for me the spine needed serious strengthening and we've not really done that. Yes, De Jong and a forward would mean the window was about as good as could realistically be expected. But right now we appear a bit flimsy to me in terms of both numbers and genuine quality.
At least we aren't signing players the manager doesn't want.

ETH said Martinez had been signed to improve the team, not the squad.
I think there’s an element of new managers wanting to work with what they have and making assessments in the first half of the season as to which players can learn to play his way.
I’m not overly concerned with transfers at this stage and think we’ll see more of an overhaul next summer.
C at the moment
Add De Jong and Antony and becomes a B+

Martinez I would expect to start and no reason Malacia can't stake a claim for a starting position.

While I don’t think anyone would refuse that, it’s far from top priority. Dalot was ok last season and has shown signs of progress in pre-season. I think if we can move AWB it’s not unlikely that we will see one come in.

I still reckon we’ll see quite a few defenders leave. We are very overcrowded in that area.

Depends how he sets the team up.
We can’t play through our full backs unless we sign a new right back or he manages to somehow get one of the ones we have to be a lot better than they have.
I think it’s one of the reasons why we were so dire last season.
for me a right back that can swing crosses/decent balls in would add so much more to our attacking play.
if we get an RB, midfielder and a forward, transfer window wud move to an A-. Dalot has been ok in fairness.
