I think its the media that do that kitty and it annoys men. As you've said it's a completely different game but the media try to claim its equal

I thought the first goal has class written all over it. Even the men's players would have been proud of that one. Vision to pick out a player running into the channel, a whipped pass right on the player's trajectory and a nice dink over the on-rushing keeper with a perfect lob.

Honestly, if you like football, you will just admire it for what it is, whether it's from women's or men's game.

I didnt watch a lot of it but the games i did see i really enjoyed, especially our lot. Done the nation proud

Ofc its not the same level as mens and wont be, but that doesnt mean its not a very good level theres no good players and you cant enjoy it etc. I enjoyed a lot of our football and some brilliant play, even our keeper was brilliant, women gks get a lot of stick but ours showed some outstand bits of goalkeeping. Hemps a very exciting footballer to watch and her work rate and desire .

Think we showed brilliant game management too and actually look better coached and play better stuff than the mens team, which isn't surprising really as we're coached by safegate.

Pretty much my thoughts on it I'm a Celtic fan and hear all the time how poor Scottish football is, when the comparative is the EPL then that's fair comment, we've done ok against some of the team last 20-15yrs though?

I enjoy a win, a cup ot a title just as much as any other fan

The womens game has been improving at a very good rate and hopefully that continues the more support and funding at grass roots and advertising, this win being a great advert to get more young women playing football can only be good for the sport

Yea, good point.

I couldn't think of anything worse than being in stadium full up of screaming kids and women.

Thankfully it is all over. Now we can get on with proper football.
