1998 - Beckham gets sent off (United's fault)
2000 - Phil Neville concedes a pen (United's fault)
2002 - Seaman gets caught out for the FK (Arsenal's fault)
2004 - Beckham skies his penalty (Madrid's fault)
2006 - Rooney gets sent off (United's fault)
2008 -
2010 - Terry off-field antics disrupting team preparation and shocking defending (Chelsea's fault)
2012 - Young and Cole miss pens (United and Chelsea's fault)
2014 - Gerrard pass back to Suarez to score (Liverpool's fault)
2016 - Hart's howler gave Iceland the lead (Man City's fault)
2018 - Stones' defending (Man City's fault)
2020 - Rashford, Sancho and Saka miss pens (United's and Arsenal's fault)

So Spurs are the only one of the big 6 not responsible for the England team going out in the last 24 years.

and whilst your players haven't been stepping up to the plate by taking no responsibility, you've also failed to be responsible for picking up anything domestic in the majority of this time frame either...

One wonders what you actually have been doing at $puds....

good article OP. notwithstanding the fact that our captain has won the world cup with France, thereby making you look like a tiiiit, I actually hope that no spurs players get picked for international duty, so hopefully Southgate reads this

Well said mate.
God, there are some facking stupid articles on here, but this one..........jeez. Given England men ( and apparently there is now a distinct competition to compare with the women now ) have not won anything since '66, so by my reckoning every English team is responsible, not just Spurs who are apparently being used serve a 3 year old's narrative.

And, yeah, just to reiterate, our current club captain is a world cup winner. You know, the tournament that ranks higher than the one the women won yesterday.

To be fair, at 3 years old, the OP wasn't alive to see our captain winning the world cup.

But not an England Player.

Typical Sрud claiming the high ground by using an argument totally unrelated to TFA.

What has France winning the WC got to do with England's mens team's Inability to win a trophy?

Just pure deflection on your part because Kane cannot inspire the England players, making him a totally ineffectual team captain.
