in the first leg that will be us... they are at home ..surprised by you

In the interests of the coefficient and after the Motherwell debacle, I hope yez progress to the play off round..

Nobody seems to know what to expect from this team though given they were "champions" after 34 games and runners up after 40 games or whatever it was.

So glad we don't have these nerve Janglers

Kent hasn't looked up to speed for me anyway

Felt we missed Matondo at the weekend more than anyone, as he has posed a threat in all games pre-season

I'd start Tillman

posted on 1/8/22

Mcgregor
Tav
Goldson
Sands
Barisic
Jack
Lundstram
Kamara
Kent
Matondo
Colak

IS what I would line up with, the only other options being tillman for Kamara or Jack possibly

I think it'll be a close game but I will go with Rangers taking a lead into second leg. 1-0

Heart and Hand saying Kent didnt travel on Twatter.

Minor injury supposedly.

It will be a boost if Matondo is fit and we arent relying on Wright.

more than happy with that... any draw or win to take back to Ibrox should hopefully sort itself out with the atmosphere etc.

Purely financial but hope yeez get pumped. Sharing the TV money with you lot will 'cost' us. I have no idea how much but re-reading Swiss Ramble's twitter it reminded me that the money split rules were all changed and the coefficient is a much bigger slice but it is based on a 10-year coefficient so Rangers are pumped by that a bit.

Good read - if anyone can work it out let us know!

dunno if the bit your talking about but at the end of the groups all the money from the allocated pot that wasnt won (bonus payments for winning and getting a draw) then gets split up among the teams and based on your 10 yr co-eff will determine how much of that pie you get.

there is also a TV deal that gets split up between the clubs if we both get in.

All other prize money for qualifying remains the same, sponsorship amounts dont change.

its about 3/4m difference IIRC.

This gave us a wee boost as well.

OK re-read.

Celtic to make £30m + c. £6-7m gate money.

Had it been Rangers it would be £25m + est. £5-6m gate money if they don't stuff the fans again?

If they both make it then the 6.8m TV money is split 55:45 or 3.75m versus 3.05m so Rangers qualifying 'costs' us the latter number.

Estimates at least.

I'd read something similar a while ago......Rangers qualifying isn't a huge dent on the CL income in the context of £40m plus.....

Hopefully pubs down here will be showing it

All new front 3 tomorrow.

Lawrence Colak Matondo

Not ideal although the two wide players have impressed me.

Don't suppose anyone happens to know Brentford well? Just had a lovely pizza. Pizzeria in a classic car garage. Bit different.

If I can't find a pub showing the game won't be to happy though

Used to visit a mate between Kew Bridge and Chiswick - great area, plenty pubs showing games and no cant will care if one of their screens is you lot. Much less tribal about that stuff. Enjoy your break. Not easy if you have the wee one though at least they don't have daft rules about weans in pubs down there. FFS we don't allow it and still have alky issues so its NOT that. Same will go for drinking in trains. Will be next millenium before the penny drops that it is POVERTY and lack of access to opportunities that turns most people to drink. Nobody on here, obviously.
