There's always one pundit with a wild prediction. Step forward Rob Green.

At last it's not as bad as Jermaine Beckford's last year who predicted:
City, Chelsea, United, Leicester
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah a bit far fetched.
I've seen worse predictions on there over the years.

Didn’t Chris Waddle have United winning it last season?
City winning 5 out of the last 6 titles would be getting close to our level of dominance in the 90s when we won 7 out of 9. Only Bayern are more dominant in their league over the last few years. Does something need to be done to make the league more competitive? City are getting record points and goals totals. It's like an athlete being allowed to compete on steroids.
I think City will win it with Liverpool second and Spurs third. Fourth is hard to say… I do have a feeling Chelsea might be the ones to have a bad season and Arsenal could get in there. United, fifth at best, I’m afraid. It’ll be interesting to see what the likes of West Ham and Newcastle can do as well.
City to win with Spurs in second. Liverpool then Chelsea
Haaland to get 40+ goals in all comps
I thought you were always going on about how injury prone Haaland is?

All pre season I’ve said ‘if he stays fit” as a qualifier after that 40+ goals statement but I did forget here.
So to make a correction … if he stays fit then 40+
City have never won 3 in a row and it's hard to acheive for a reason. Saying that I still expect them to win it as long as they don't get any major injuries this season. I think Liverpool on their day are better but City have a stronger squad which will be key.
Spurs and Chelsea to battle for 3rd and 4th. We'll do well to get 5th but feel like that should be Arsenal's with all the money they've spent and time Arteta's had with the squad. I'm sure there will be some surprises, maybe one of the lesser teams performing unexpectedly well due to the effects of the WC.
Out of interest which sides have the most players in the WC? I'm sure that will have some kind of impact on the club season.
Surprised how many are tipping Spurs for 2nd. Unless Liverpool have an absolute shocker maybe?
A comfortable 3rd for them is probably possible if Chelsea struggle
No Salah or Haaland at the world cup so they should be fresh and firing all season. We do have McTominay who isn't going to the world cup so having him fresh all season might get us 7th.

Arsenal are gonna surprise a lot of people it seems
Liverpool were lucky with injuries last season
City won the title run with most of their defence missing
When Pool have lots of defensive injuries they go into meltdown
City will be champions again at a canter if the referees do their jobs properly, but I expect that Varpool will be once again dragged into another title race by the officials to appease the mug media etc.

Seems like it. Partey still in the team is a bold move.
I think City’s experience will make the difference and will see them edge the race ahead of Arsenal.
Talent wise though I think Arsenal have the best team.
Think it will be City most likely, but wouldn't bet against Liverpool pulling it off either. Quite a lot of variables and I don't think it's quite as cut and dry as the predictions seem to think.

I count 13-10 in favour of City over Liverpool. Hardly cut and dry.
