A good lad, hope it works out for him.
Wow, great read OP.
Good luck Sam. Really hope that your injury is finally behind you and you can get your career back on track.
Good luck to the lad. Must be incredibly difficult to stay mentally right after his setbacks.
Actually things like this just reinforce my desire to be more supportive of the Spurs kids (NextGen, Europa games etc) , as they start their journey into the "beautiful" game epitomised by the Tevezs of this world.
Send this over to Tevez, hope he chokes on it
wow, fair play to the lad,i hope it leads him to,even just 1 first team appearence.
and also, fair play to chelsea, who we all give stick to for having no soul.
for realising the lad loved football so much, and finding a way for him to stay involved.
refreshing story all round.
Trouble is he couldnt read if he wanted too

I expect even Tevez had a deep desire to play the game at no matter what cost at some point but money goes to the heads of some.
tevez is a mercenary......
Great read. Cheers OP
Good luck to the lad
What an inspiring story, also a cautionary tale for pushing youngsters too hard - maybe we should be patient with Coulibaly
And we should probably be patient with Wilshere too Arsene.
Oh wait...
It also demonstrates that there is life after football for players and so them whining about deserving obscene wages because of a short career is so false.
Bales :
No jumping on the RDBD 'do not push Coulibaly' badwagon without my permission !!!

Not for all pro's.
You cannot really blame players for trying to earn as much as they can, especially them who are not on the money like Rooney etc are.
The RDBD is my idol
Seriously though I didn't know the RDBD had got the wagon rolling, consider me a fully paid up member
Twas on a thread a few days ago.
When there was discussion of the striker problem.
Some suggested Coulibaly should be fast-tracked (the "good enough then you're old enough" argument) .
The RDBD thinks time is on the kids' side. As long as he is not shipped out to the middle of nowhere on loan, events will run their course. Backed up by the fact that Harry Kane has only just entered the fray, and he has not yet set the pitch on fire (nice chest-down BTW in the Shamrock game - for Pav to then waste big-time) .

I'm not having ago at players earning as much as they can and especially players in lower leagues. It is when they start whining and setting themselves up on a pedestal demanding more is what I can't stand.
When their footballl career finishes (whenever that may be) then there are plenty of options:
Management
Coaching
Executive/Admin side
Media
*Some will have earned enough to perhaps do something for themselves of their own interest or hobby (own business)
*Some will have earned enough to do nothing and waste themselves.
Or they can just join the q in the hunt for a job
*when I say earned enough, a lot of average players can now set themselves up for life after just a few seasons on less than half of what they actually earn.
Harry Kane has only just entered the fray, and he has not yet set the pitch on fire (nice chest-down BTW in the Shamrock game - for Pav to then waste big-time)

I think the RDBD will find that was Falque
Agreed he should be brought through slowly, I guess it all depends on the manager.. let's not start that debate here though.

the chest down,is that where pav then preceded to hit the corner flag on the volley....?!
