Keogh on verge of a move to Ipswich

Thanks for the link to the BBC article Fin. In the main, a good summary of what happened but some serious omissions, viz - the distinct lack of merit in the claims by Wycombe and Middlesborough, the conflict of interest inherent in M's claim and the less than stellar role of the EFL throughout. By the way, does anyone know what happened to W's claim in the end?

Re Fin's excellent article on the banana and distribution of skins I would just add that much also depends on the source of the individual banana (eg, Domenican Republic) and the incidence of its curve, ie, the more the curve the more the added chance of tripping over the skin of said discarded banana never mind slipping on it. Finally I would like to know if Confucius had ought to say on the subject. Anyone?

Confucius he say, every banana is a potential banana skin.

Confucius would have said very little on the subject as he passed away in 470BC.

Bananas started to appear in Chinese coastal areas around about the 1880s where the skins were smoked to provide an antidote to opium hangovers.

Doesn't mean he couldn't have said anything about bananas though. In fact until Darwin came along, Confucius was considered the world expert on bananas.

Who doesn't know that Confucius said "A man who takes many steps is sure to tread on a banana skin."

Or when his famous saying, later used in commercials "When you fancy a tasty treat, unzip a banana".

Derby County Academy player Kellan Gordon possibly playing tonight.

Another possible *insert fruit* .

Also if you're a betting man or woman I'd put a wager on JFH of Burton Albion being sacked/left by mutual consent.

A banana is an elongated, edible fruit – botanically a berry – produced by several kinds of large herbaceous flowering plants in the genus Musa. In some countries, bananas used for cooking may be called "plantains", distinguishing them from dessert bananas.
