I lost optimism that Ten Haag would change anything the minute he announced Maguire stays as his captain

Man Utd job is easy. Get rid of De Gea, Maguire and get in some new strikers.

Our most underperforming players last season was goalkeeper and strikers and defenders.

Midfield is only strong part of side.

Have previously argued against that viewpoint as I felt a better coach, some decent signings and things might improve?

I stand corrected, 90% of them are a disgrace and won't be able to change things enough to improve the team
