He did jump phil.He jumped towards the tackle,as he did (cleverly when he seen Jag`s coming) for the silly tackle he made

This picture says it all:

The other thing to bear in mind is that Rodwell's outstretched foot was on the floor when Suarez ran into him. I still dont understand why Suarez carried on running when he knew he'd lost the ball... actually thats not true, I understand completely.

Tha incident to this day still bugs me. A tackle THAT good gets a red card

And his yellow the week before was a good tackle as well!

They are trying to make it a non-contact sport.

Atkinson should be banned.

......................

It will be interesting to see if the Premier League does take any action.

He definately needs to be demoted. This is not the first controvesy involving him in big games.

In fact, as far as I am concerned, Atkinson should have took a look at it after the game, gone to the Everton dressing room and apologised to Moyes, Rodwell and the rest of the Everton players.

The fact that he has not done so, leads me to believe he thinks he has made the correct decision, and if that is the case, he really should not be allowed to refferee at any level.

It was only a matter of time before you bitters started twisting events to this extent.
So Suarez now ran into rodwell??? my god you are bitter.
You will struggle to find a red that doesnt agree the red was wrong, but you will struggle to find a blue that can admit the follow through caught suarez when it quite obviously did. Pathetic!

The follow through did indeed catch Suarez.

However, it did not warrant a full somersault and a pirouette thrown in for good measure, and to make it worse, by looking like someone had shot him.

As he is foreign and new to ouir league I will give him the benefit of the doubt here and hope Kenny stamps out this kind of play acting.

I suppose you had the same opinion about nani when he walked 10 feet, fell to the ground then burst into tears last year?

Yes I did, actually, though quite how you can compare the two challenges shows what a prize plum you really are.

In the case of Nani the tackle drew some blood so it looked like it hurt as he had to be taken off the pitch

There isn't a player in the PL who makes a meal of incidents like Suarez and unlike Vidicschin I am not willing to give that the benefit of the doubt.

There might have been the slightest of follow throughs, but that didnt even merit a foul. There are few players in the world who have the same disgusting on field behaviour as Suarez.

hahaha, it drew a bit of blood..classic!
What about the pathetic walk up to the ref...point down...then fall back crying?
Even more cringeworthy was ferguson claiming he would be out for weeks because of the "gaping wound" where he then proceeds to miss just one game.
Im thinking that gaping wound is actually one that never heals!!!!

After his world cup antics we all know what sort of player he is.

I seem to remember Mr Neville going exactly the same thing in a merseyside derby to deny lucas his first liverpool goal. Is this acceptable?

Yes it did, didn't it? And it also shown the shin bone through the g ash.

Did Neville celebrate his actions from the side of the.pitch.?

Was it as deliberate as Suarez's

posted on 4/10/11

lucas, how about I go over to your house and kick you so hard in the leg and see if it splits your skin

posted on 4/10/11

... and you can tell me if that hurts or not?

Completely different to the rodwell incident

No, as you did not get anything as a result of it. Had this been an FA cup semi and that won everton the game, do you think he would not celebrate out of respect?? pah!

Was it as deliberate as Suarez's

What will happen then is I will walk over to the wife...point at the cut...then burst into tears and fall to the ground!

The point here is that people are having a go at suarez after he got his ankle caught by rodwell. Nani got caught by carra and then behaved in the most pathetic of manner. you condemn the behaviour of suarez but not nani?

posted on 4/10/11

Suarez wasnt hurt, he could have played on easily.

I believe that Nani must have been hurt because he went off the field!

Two completely different incidents.

For you mate, it will be the wooden spoon!
