6) Fantastic management/ change of formation from Conte to address the midfield issue that dogged us in the first half.
Yes it was a good change and really glad Conte abandoned 5 at the back for a traditional back 4.
Really hope Conte is more flexible with his starting formation against the likes of Liverpool, City and Woolwich.
Pressing football beats parking the bus, counter attacking football.
11) Good as the final score was the fact that we couldn't pass the ball to each other throughout the entire first half was both worrying and unacceptable.
12) I realise that it's hardly top of the agenda after such an eventful match but what on earth was Lloris doing on James goal? He just puts his laces through it and the ball goes straight where Hugo should be standing. However by then Hugo has inexplicably dived out of the way.
The most important thing is you were supposed to be ahead of us in preparation, fitter, more settled yet for most of the match you were poor.

Chelsea should be worried they did'nt win the game.
For all their dominance they did'nt create many more than Spurs did.

The fitness thing will become more obvious as the season progresses.
Tactically, we were done for the first half, and it was just down to tactics. Not fitness as such.
With Mount roaming the midfield to outnumber us wherever the ball was, caused us the issue.
However, Conte, brought on Richarlison and changed to 4 at the back, that won us the initiative and in fact, Kane should have out us ahead with a 1 on 1.
This was Chelsea's game to win and the fact they didn't speaks volume of solidity and tenacity shown by Spurs...To the last second.

It shows how perceptions are different based on allegiance and where the interests lie, as I thought the ref did very well in the context of a fiery derby with previous bad blood?
Accept he may have made a few mistakes, but nothing for me that isn't honest error.
James Reece got away with a few pulling back our players and strong challenges and could have got a second yellow, but the ref tried his best to let the game flow. Bentacur's tackle was spot on and got the ball, but it is difficult for the refs, as Chelsea players were tending to go down anytime there was a contact.
In the end, it was a game between last season's 3rd and 4th so it was close, and a 2-2 draw is good for me, all things considerred
You lot got lucky yesterday, the hair pulling incident was blatant and right in front of the ref but not given.
Bentancur got the ball. Romero's should have been a foul and a yellow, but I think VAR could only check for a red card?

no it was a penalty, also yesterday that was a blatant foul right in front of the ref but for some reason ignored. No wonder Chelsea are fuming.
I think it was even VAR reviewed too
Obviously something that needs to looked at around how VAR works/rules ect.
Thems the breaks though.
I don't think the ref got much wrong to be honest. It's only those who follow what others say that seem to have a dislike for Spurs and therefore want to belittle our result.
Nothing wrong with the first goal.
Yea, Romero is lucky not to have been in trouble, but that doesn't excuse the goal still really. Chelsea still didn't defend it properly. Can go on about the phase before all you like but Harry nodded it in.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ironically I think if Romero had done the hair pull on the corner we scored from, the goal would have been disallowed by VAR as it would have deemed it a foul in the build up to a goal.
But yeah I think they just reviewed it for serious violent conduct or something and Romero got lucky.
I do think the bleating about decisions is a bit unnecessary though. Tuchel should have seen a red card after their second goal, Deki was arguably fouled in the build up to that goal etc..... I think on balance decisions went a bit more in our favour but nothing particularly outrageous.

Bentancur got the ball. Romero's should have been a foul and a yellow, but I think VAR could only check for a red card?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ironically I think if Romero had done the hair pull on the corner we scored from, the goal would have been disallowed by VAR as it would have deemed it a foul in the build up to a goal.
But yeah I think they just reviewed it for serious violent conduct or something and Romero got lucky.
I do think the bleating about decisions is a bit unnecessary though. Tuchel should have seen a red card after their second goal, Deki was arguably fouled in the build up to that goal etc..... I think on balance decisions went a bit more in our favour but nothing particularly outrageous.

You lot got lucky yesterday, the hair pulling incident was blatant and right in front of the ref but not given.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Being lucky is part of the game, did you not get lucky in the CL final with that pen call?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no it was a penalty, also yesterday that was a blatant foul right in front of the ref but for some reason ignored. No wonder Chelsea are fuming.
I think it was even VAR reviewed too
Obviously something that needs to looked at around how VAR works/rules ect.
Thems the breaks though.

Chelsea are fuming is of concern to you?
Just trolling then?
