What did Gorgeous George have to say?
How did he sound Ang? That might sound like odd question but in an interview he did earlier in 2022 he sounded incredibly low in confidence and bitter. ( With good reasons to be given how he was treated by Mel and fat Frank, I just hope he's on the up.)

He sounded great, I thought. Still a Ram at heart and knowledgeable about the current squad including the recent additions. Interestingly, he hinted that the calamity of the last few years, under the previous ownership, came as no surprise to him.
He will be summarising during the RD commentary of Tues' game v W Brom if, like me, you still have a mancrush

I think so, first player to watch live at Pride Park and just be mesmerized by his absolute quality. I'll never forget his debut and how he just looked like a Rolls Royce of a midfielder.

I never got to see players like Eranio, Baiano , Kinky, or Asanović play live ( we'd moved away from Derby at that time) so Gorgeous George was an absolute joy.

I'm sure Asanović would have been great too.

Before the old school start referring to players from the black and white era ( like Franny Lee , Charlie George, Archie Gemmill etc) remember I'm from the technicolour era 😉

They had technicolor in the 1940s. It was perfected in 1932. Steve Bloomer might have missed out but Carter, Doherty, Sammy Crooks et al could have been filmed in technicolor.

I think Desi’s ‘technicolour’ might have something to do with illicit substances?

I must have monochrome eyes because I've never seen them in colour.

They aren't new either. Queen Victoria, that symbol of Victorian respectability smoked cannabis, drank laudanam and her favourite tipple was wine with cocaine.
