Only Sa, Neves, Guedes and Neto away from our strongest possible current line up
Some useful penalty takers on the bench 🤓
PNE much weaker than Saturday, eight changes.
Strong team. Let's hope we get some goals tonight.
I'm not quite sure what your fascination is regarding Mosquera, cinci.
None of the players involved in last night match are involved today and the U21's have another game on Friday. He's returning from an injury and came off after 53 mins yesterday.
Boly is the one most likely to go, even though you didn't think so, earlier in this thread.
Strong side without the wholesale changes.

My fascination is that IF Boly is going then Mosquera is our second reserve, a guy that has played about 20 professional games in his career.
As for Boly, I have said since early summer i expected him to go. I have since said, given we have lost Saiss AND Coady, said I think it would now be a mistake to leave us with two inexperinced kids as the only back up.
Though the reality is Bruno would turn to Donk before Mosquera I suspect.
What about Toti? He was thrust into the side last season and did very well, so there's no reason Mosquera can't do the same, should we get into that situation. I personally like the idea of our younger players given the chance. Who knows how they'll get on. Bueno and Cundle are two more with potential.

But when we give them games you want them dropped. Ait-Nouri.
And because Toti did well for three games it doesn't mean all youngsters will work. Generally more fail than succeed.
Ait-Nouri is much better as a wing back. However, Bruno is obviously confident that he will get better playing on the left in a back four. (dare not mention LB). I haven't suggested he gets dropped, that's you twisting my comments to suit your agenda. On Saturday, he did better and that was because we switched to a back three and he played in his best position.
You seem to have no confidence in our youngsters and would prefer to just splash out more cash. Collins will be a great signing, I'm sure and that has turned out well because we are now switching more to a back four.
I do like the way Bruno now has the option to play the two systems.
How can you have confidence in youngsters you have never seen play a professional game?
I have confidence once it is proven to be validated.
A year ago it was Sanderson who was the savior? Where is he now?
We bought Collins to play in a back four. His signing didn’t turn out well because we switched.
just noticed pens after 90 mins, no extra time
I know it's Preston, but would love to see us put another 6 away
Jimenez and the assist to Ait-Nouri
Unlike you cinci, I watched plenty of U23 matches last season and there are some very talented youngsters coming through the ranks. They are all professional footballers, so I' not sure what your point is there.
Anyway, nice to see Jimenez slot one in and just where he should be, in the box.
Bruno’s decision vindicated already for making wholesale changes and bringing in fresh legs.
Another assist for Ait Nouri at Half Back 👍

My point? You know that about 75% (or maybe higher) of youth players don't make it at the top right?
The coverage of this cup is absolutely pathetic
Traore with a stunner apparently
Preston have conceded twice as many goals tonight that they have all season. Wolves have scored twice as many.
