Always enjoy a trip to Dunfermline. The bridies are amazing. Along with getting the derbies back, next season should be more enjoyable than what we're faced with this season.
Hearing a rumour that Ross has resigned.
Pinch of salt stuff but wouldn't actually be surprised given his interview after the game.

Yeah it will be good to have two Tayside clubs in the Championship next season. Although I don't think St Johnstone take the rivalry with United massively seriously.

I'm surprised you're so negative about Dundee's chances this season. After getting points on the board early I'd have thought you'd have been confident of avoiding the drop, but evidently not
Can you imagine if he had resigned? That would be mental! It’s already a disaster, when the fixtures came out the start looked ok for us - Killie, Livi and St Mirren in the opening four matches. Now with Celtic dropping in this weekend we could be looking at 1 point from 15. Jeezo.
The bridies are excellent, that would be a silver lining for sure.
I fear it's going to be a very heavy defeat on Sunday.
Also the decision to not give Celtic the shed is going to backfire terribly. Who in their right mind would buy a ticket to see us getting skelpt?
I don't like the trend of giving away fans a smaller and smaller allocation. Especially in derbies. The old firm ones aren't the same anymore. It detracts from the spectacle. It is one of those things that once it has changed, it doesn't go back. Like drinking on trains in Scotland.
Glad Aberdeen never took Ross, would be worse than last season
A lot of United fans moan about giving away fans the shed, myself included to be honest, but certainly in this situation we're not going to sell that out. In fact we're not going to sell many tickets at all.
We're shooting ourselves in the foot financially this time.
A pal has said he’s heard a rumour Jack Ross has been relieved of his duties - wonder if it’s the same pinch of salt as your source, Ivan. Also widespread chat that Tony Watt is making life really difficult for him behind the scenes. Oh dear.

Is it true he called Ross the ‘ASOS Ancelotti’??

Haha I’d love to think so… That rumour was along the same lines of the one that he had turned down the Dundee manager’s job because he found out that Zara in Dundee had closed
The ASOS Ancelotti thing was unfortunately not true
The rumour I heard was that there was a meeting this morning at Malmaison and he's packed it in. I think it's doing the rounds on whatsapp now so most United fans will have heard it now. We'll see what happens over the next few days.

You'd think this coming Sunday wouldn't count as one of the two (unless it's an absolute beating).

Paddy's back
Not seen you in like 24 hours
Thought it was a massive improvement against St. Mirren - the goalkeeper only flogged one goal.
Bet Trevor Carson enjoyed the result.
As for United in general, the team just look awful. It's as if they just turn up at the weekend and guess how to play. Lack of fitness from certain players, lack of cohesion anywhere in the park, some decent build up play at times but a total lack of ideas how to convert a chance into a goal and an even bigger dearth of ideas when we lose the ball.
The AZ game at home was so bizarre as the team played brilliantly. Even Killie away was a decent performance until Harkes lost his head, but since then it's like they've been replaced by unconvincing body-doubles.

I like this short thread.
Makes me yearn for the days of a competitive cohort of OF, Embro OF,
Dundee OF, & the Dairy Farm botherers all routinely taking points aff
each other & fairly regularly giving bloody noses to Euro teams.
