Will be missing this one as guiding friends down south of the state looking for avian goodies.
Toon looked pretty good the other day and pretty physical, it won't be an easy avo. Hopefully we can't start to click and bring home the points and get the season finally started.
Not sure that will happen though and think a draw is pretty likely 1-1. A pretty big six days in Brunos tenure I think. Bournemouth and Saints follow this game, if the unthinkable were to happen and we don't put a win on the board during those three it will very likely be the end for Bruno you would think. Would be harsh but it is a results business.
Wonder if Netos place is under threat. Seems off form and comms were critical again tonight. Traore perhaps to get the start?
Certainly hope there is a late flurry of sales and the game is played in front of a capacity crowd. There are still a few hundred tickets left this morning.
Hope I'm wrong but I can see the Geordies turning us over here. They will break quickly and put us under real pressure when we lose possession, which Fulham failed to do, but could have easier done.
The first goal will be key, as always.
0-2
Should be a really good game to watch with two teams buoyed by the investment in new players and both will go into the game with a positive mindset.
Possible Wolves team would be;
Sa
Semedo, Collins, Kilman, Ait Nouri
Moutinho, Neves, Nunes
Neto, Jimenez, Guedes
If that is the 11 then it would surely be the most valuable team in transfer value that Wolves have ever fielded. Well over £300m I reckon. Look forward to it
For me that is probably our best 11 players available. If that team could gel and stay together for 4 or 5 games I feel sure they would produce the sort of football, and the results, that we all want.
With the backup of Jonny, Dendonker, Traore, Podence and Hwang as our subs we could be in for a good season.
Always positive . . .
unless despondency sets in.
I think I'd play Traore for this one to be honest.

Your valuation got me thinking so I just added up the values of our current 20 man senior squad according to Transfermkt. The total is around £325m although I'm not too sure about some of those values. For instance they have Dendoncker valued at £25.2m and Jimenez at £16.4m. Semedo is shown as £19.8m and Kilman as £14.4m. So a bit skewed some of them.
I think those market values are amortised over the length of the remainder of the contract Gem?
It's "complicated" though, so we will need one of the Chuckle Brothers to come along and explain the complexities to us mere mortals
Not sure I would go along with some of those values gem. Dendoncker maybe £20m max, Raul in his 30s and not really proved himself since his injury yet, Semedo must be worth at least £25m and Kilman seems to have kicked on even further to another level to me and in the modern market I think we could get at least £40m for him especially as he fits the homegrown tag
Draw for the next round of the Carabao Cup takes place tonight after Sky’s televised game between Tranmere and Newcastle
The ties don’t take place until the week of 7th November
See they've got Fabio as current market value of £13.5m and a highest ever valuation of £22.5m.

Yes Deje, that is now. We bought a young talent and have invested for the future. So who knows what his value will be?

Agreed Deja, we are betting he will be worth more. Investing for the future.
Oh I see.
Didn't realise they are gambling with the club's money and future here? It's all a bit of a Casino then?
Weird that Fosun would gamble like that. I thought the Chinese hate Tibet.
Every signing is a gamble Deja.
So as well as factoring in the players transfer value, wages, agents fees, fitness issues etc
We are also need to consider betting odds as well?
Complex.
Looking forward to watching this one on Sunday and hoping that the gradual gelling of this squad can produce 3 points.
Yes Deja there are many factors.
Newcastle signing Alexander Isak. Reports seem to range between £50 million and £70 million.
Not sure whether that will go through in time for him to be available for our game.
Seems an awful lot of money for Isak to me having looked at his record. Not that I’ve seen much of him.
Seems to have done well for Real Sociedad in Spain but then so did Jose when we loaned him from there
Isak looked very good at the Euros. Would have liked him here.
