I was at that 0-3 FA Cup game back in 2009 and came out shell-shocked, the scoreline was a fair reflection of the game.

Lets hope we can stay focussed at the back, play to the whistle and stop switching off.
Scoring a goal would be a bonus!

Henderson is more & more looking like an inspired signing by Cooper & Murphy & may well be largely responsible for keeping us in the division.

I'm hoping it's not a rout so fingers crossed!

Unsurprisingly I’ll be deliberately pessimistic for this game. I just hope we make them work for their goals and frustrate them for the best part of 90 minutes. Losing by less than four would be ok.

Lets hope we don't let in more than 4! defence needs to sharpen up & not let Henderson down again.

Great intro Mornin. Complete free hit is this one, no one expects us to get anything, and we probably won’t. If we can make them work as hard as we did Spurs then I’ll be happy. City, like Spurs will have too much for us I’m sure, but we must maintain our composure and in particular discipline, we are picking up far too many silly bookings. We’ll probably make a couple of changes but at least Cooperman has some good players in reserve. A point would be amazing, even a goal would be nice but City to win by two clear goals. 3-1 is my prediction.

Hints from Pep is that he may rotate mid-week games so chance we might not face their full force, also as Newcastle and Palace showed they can be got at, certainly more easily than Spurs who were well organised.

I have some hope!

Actually lucky enough to be going to this one with little Bunk so 🤞🤞

Very very difficult again tonight. I'm just hoping for another good display like Sunday's.

It will be interesting to see how our front three get at City's back two. Could be a goal in there somewhere.

SC to make a couple of changes? Lodi and Dennis?

Gonna be interesting - nice to see them back. Forrest look to me to be quite open, which really is hazardous against City. I swear to god though, if we give them a 2 goal start, we need to change our name to Sporting Manchester City.

Alarms set. See you all in six hours.

Safe travels Bunk!

Would not surprise me to see Grealish, Alvarez and Mahrez up front, with the Viking coming on at 60 minutes.

Wow interesting line up

Interesting team selection. Dropping Lingard makes it more difficult to see where a goal will come from. Maybe McKenna from a set piece except we don’t have anyone who takes a good free kick/ corner.

The good news is Steve Cooper has a better footballing brain than me.

I'm looking forward to watch Lodi. I just hope he realizes the difference in the speed of the Prem as compared to La Liga.
