The commentators keep saying the refs are taking a more lenient stance. Obviously not when an Arsenal player makes a tackle, that remains one foul = yellow. Fulham and Villa were both given great licence to foul - although I think Ramsey was a bit unfortunate to be booked for his on Martinelli as it was more our mans bad first touch.
The "foul" on Ramsdale is given most times, although I think our defenders should be protecting the keeper.
Saka was pulled back even before Mings went WWE on him.
Referee gave Newcastle everything last night too. Frustrating. The standard of refereeing neve seems to improve.

No accountability, if managers publicly question a ref's poor performance they get fined. Refs are never the problem in their own/ the FA's eyes.
Maybe now we're not so awful the refs are going back to their Wenger era allowing assaults on Arsenal players mode.
Diaby broken, Eduardo broken, Ramsey broken and there were hundreds of assaults that our players were "lucky" enough to walk away from.
Can't remember who that referee was last night, but I hope he gets anally penetrated by a rabid dog and set on fire just as he's losing his marbles.
Seriously we have Paul Tierney at Old Toilet next. We should begin to pray.
Please lads, please, you're starting to sound like your noisy pathetic neighbours up the road !

Under Wenger we had a hugely disproportionate number of serious injuries due to assaults on our players. Refs letting it happen and a complicit media agreeing it's the best way to stop the side (I mean yes, assaulting players does stop them so that is true, it's what refs are supposed to stop though).
It's no conspiracy, it's literally what happened, our players had the snapped limbs and ruined careers to prove it.
Our fan base does not want to see this stuff ever happening again
Not impressed with odegaard getting injured.... I have to change my FF midfield AGAIN

This is a great point, why don't we just go out and get the best referees on the world and pay them big
Our players come from world over but our referees are all English, why decrease the talent pool so much?

If United set out against you boys like they did against Liverpool, your players are going to feel it, for sure.
To think Saka wasn't given a pen for that yet away at spurs last season the most ridiculous penalty was given against us with barely any contact with the ball going out of play.

Same thing with Haaland against West Ham...
I agree goal keeper fouled him but no way Haaland would have reached for that ball before going out of play
The Saka one was ridiculous.
