Bamford not match fit yet, some way off. Rodrigo out, James sold. So expect Joffy to start. Looking very short of numbers already.

Expect a tough game, I’ll go for a draw

I was sure we would lose to Everton, so it was a relief to get the point. Brentford are a different proposition, similar to us in many ways. Progressive coach, honest footballers, will give it 100%. But they have lost the creativity and control of Eriksen and by contrast, we have improved in midfield in particular.
I’m not sure how much of a loss Rodrigo is, because up to his injury, he was fading in the last two games. However, Bamford is not up to speed and Joffy is not the superstar many seem to think he is. I think our threat will come from Harrison and Sinisterra, but the difference between the two teams may be Klich. This is a big opportunity for him to show he is more than just an impact player. If he can rollback the years, I expect him to cause Brentford a lot of problems.
Brentford will target Rasmus and Llorente. Wissa and Toney will threaten on that side, but I can’t see Mbuemo troubling Struijk and new midfielder, Damsgard, is yet to make an impact.
In short, we have improved more than they have and I am going for a comfortable 2-0 win, with late goals from Klich and Harrison to take the sting out of the Bees.

Another tricky away fixture where we'll do well to come away with anything. Thomas Frank knows his stuff - I hope Marsch gets his tactics and subs right!

I hope to see Cooper in for Llorente, who has been a bit out of sorts in the last couple of games, and also that Struijk holds his place at LB.

Looking forward to Joffy starting up front if Bamford's not ready yet, although Marsch said everyone was in training bar Dallas.

Yep, deadline day drama in the past now. We all get behind the lads, whoever’s playing! 1-2 with Bamford and Harrison for us.

Ok, just a moment of self-indulgence if I may; I’ve just watched Jesse’s pre-match interview in full and I must pay tribute to him for his glowing support for Orta, Kinnear and Radz. I know this has been his constant refrain (he’s too smart anyway to do a ‘Scott Parker’😁), but I really like the togetherness that clearly defines their 4-way relationship. Regardless of what I think (my most recent thread), credit to Jesse for his part in creating a binding team. It can only help the players.

Hopefully we can repeat our last game here.

Very symbolic match today, just a few months ago we won 3-1, any less points today and it's hard to call that progress.

Didn't we pass the second season syndrome baton to Brentford, I hope that they got the message!

We were playing a Brentford side who were already on holiday. Totally different game.

Hopefully put a better performance in today than our last trip down south to Brighton!
