Chelsea DNA is to sack managers and play boring football while winning trophies.

Winning ain't in the least boring!

Another spoke on the Chelsea managerial wheel. The cycle continues.

Water is wet. The earth is flat. etc etc

Manager's job is to keep a motivated dressing room and a winning spirit...if he cant do that what use is he?

posted on 7/9/22

I reckon he has either fell out with the board or lost the dressing room.

The former is unlikely after our recent spending.

This is a great decision for the rival clubs. He made it very difficult for us when we faced Chelsea.

Not if they have bought players that he does not really want.

Wanted Kounde and got Fofana for £70m

He's been throwing the players under the bus for a while now

It was that useless layabout Fofana that did him in. That and the spendthrift Chelsea owners the fans have to endure. Everyone knows that if Chelsea had just bought every professional footballer in the world this summer, the title would be a shoo in. But no. Fofona.

Ok but personally I'm not sure we can brand these new owners that way just yet. Time will tell.

It does feel wrong sacking one of the top managers in the world still very much in his prime. Presumably there's been a major fallout between him and the owners

I’m not sure it’s anything more than underwhelming results and an impatient board.

Perhaps this is just the Tuchel cycle. The Dortmund CEO called him a fantastic coach but "a difficult person".

Dortmund - 23 months
PSG - 31 months
Chelsea - 19 months

Chelsea is shorter but traditionally they're not a patient club. Perhaps Tuchel is a 2 year manager.

I've always found him mad overrated tbh.

Hey it's me again who got this one spot on in the first place. But yeah I am talking rubbish.

So who are the bad apples in the dressing room?

Aubameyang seemed a strange signing given his rep at Arsenal

posted on 7/9/22

A shocking sacking imo.

I will sing his name at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

It's all knee jerk reaction at Chelsea at the moment. Their whole transfer window was like that. Tuchel obviously lost the dressing room weeks ago but I dont let him buy for 300M and then sack him 1 week later after the transfer window closed.

I think Poch will be next.

Didn't expect that so soon. He was under pressure but that's junping the gun.

Think people are forgetting that the rot started on December and January and we have been poor ever since.

This interview happened and probably got him the sack after being given £200m to sort out the team

Is it player power? Tuchel has a reputation for being difficult with the board.

Now it's happened it's actually not as surprising as I thought it would be. Boehly's actions this summer have been of someone desperate to prove themselves & acting rashly - this is just another instance of that. That's an old school Abramovich move, the one who calmed down a bit in the last 5-6 years would've either changed in the summer or waited a bit longer once the season started.

Big picture neither of us will be worse off. I have no doubt Tuchel will be successful where ever he ends up (probably Spurs within a few years ), and we'll keep doing our thing. It's more of a gamble for us than him but we'll be fine, we always are
