When Kulu came on, it was easier to play as they were a player down. First half, Emerson did well but in defensive area, as we were sitting deep and then the sending off changed the balance of the game we were finding more spaces to pass the ball into.

Son and even Kane are suffering some form loss. It is good that we have Richy boy who can finish, just for these moments
Fans will have to get used to the team sitting deep, with 2 defensive midfielders operating in the middle. We are now counter attacking merchants, so we will need Son and Kulu or Lucas to provide the pace.

The best assist of the night without a shadow of doubt belongs to Emerson.

He quickly picked up the red car the ref dropped when Son got tripped, and passed it to the ref and even tried to tell him to wave it at the Marseille player

Apart from the win, best moment was Emerson helping the ref to pick up the red card he had just dropped on the pitch, to make sure it was administered.
