Put it down to our style and attitude

We still play a style of football that was relevant in the 80s. Hard tackling and all about commitment rather than technique.

Games moved on but we haven't

Plus the brittish boys attitude is all wrong. Bad diets and drinking pints midweek.

You never see the foreigners doing it.

I think our players are just a little bit thick 😂

6am flight to Warsaw next week.

Debating hotel at airport the night before sharing with Master Ginger 2 but need to be at airport by around 3.30am, or just leaving house at 2.30am and parking up.

Actually; debate over. Leaving from house.

If we are honest with ourselves, just being invited to the party (CL group stage) is a huge achievement in itself. The coefficient will always suffer due to the financial gulf which exists in our domestic league and richer leagues.
So, no matter how well the OF do, Aberdeen & Hearts & co will never be able to compete consistently on the euro stage and the coefficient takes a beating. Keeping our league and it's finances seriously handicapped.
The surprise, I think, is that the big two were shown up at this level. Both have struggled in qualifiers previously and not including Rangers recent Euro success in the EL and BR's inroads there hasn't been any signs to suggest things would be different. I say accept our level, learn from it and enjoy the party.
Anyone else bored without football this weekend? Atleast there will be a public holiday

You knitting a compfy blanket?

I've been watching the Serie A games instead this season so no big disruption for me. Interesting league with big teams dropping points early, and watching the games is far more enjoyable when you don't care what the result is.

Genuinely can’t be bothered watching any football unless it’s my side, the Villa or Rangers until they go 2-0 up. Scotland of course also.
