all football were cancelled the weekend after Hillsborough and resumed the following weekend. We were in div 2 (championship) and played Barnsley at home. When the teams came out, the Kippax burst into you'll never walk alone, never forget that

Yes throughout history when the king or queen has died (who were essentially dictators for hundreds of years) their children often turned to the poor impoverished public of the middle ages and said ‘do you want us to continue the monarchy?’

There is no referendum to abolish the monarchy

I think if her death does lead to the postponement of games I think it will be much more than just one round.

Her death day alone will see postponements out of respect. Then you’ve got the funeral. Coronation day. The three days her coffin sits open to the public and you know London will be jam packed with mourners.

The police will be everywhere to manage that so there won’t be enough around for games in London atleast.

Could be like a two week pause.

Which will coincide with a huge uptick in liverpools form and I will be straight to the bookies to put a huge wedge on them too.
