Sometimes Evatt comes out with a ridiculous statement for me these are a couple of them.

“Come the end of September I think it will be a really good guide as to where we are. If we can be in the top 10, not the top six, then I think we will be well-poised,” he said.

Why on earth would anyone want to be in the top ten rather than the top six, having played some of the promotion contenders? Surely being in the top six would be a massive morale builder for the rest of the season.

Is that statement getting in his excuses before we have even kicked the ball in tonight's game?

He also says that they have been practising causing chaos in the game. It will be chaos if we go 2-0 behind like we did against Sheffield Wednesday.

Perhaps they should have concentrated on putting a stop to the errors in defence that we seem so prone to make in a lot of our recent games and getting our forwards to be more clinical in front of goal.

The problem isn't creating chances, it's putting them into the back of the net.
