The moral of the saga is of course: If you live a life of exemplary duty and service , at the end of such devotion, you will surely never walk alone.
Bringing a majority Liverpool fans into this image is simply not appropriate. n'est ce pa?
Are we now debating that the referee didn’t cut it short?
This really has become pathetic.
As stated before, I don’t agree with the pointscoring on this at all.
But equally, if you’re a Liverpool fan who hasn’t criticised what happened and has spent your time just trying to argue with those who did criticise it then I think you should have a closer look at yourself.
How difficult would it be to acknowledge what happened, criticise the people responsible, put it into context and move on?

Already done on a different thread you were on and replied to ya bad blert.
Yep we had a period of silence, literally a few morons decided to voice their dissent and shouted down by others to “shut up you wanchor”
So you can choose, Winnie, to focus on the 0.05% (if that) while the 99.95% respected the silence. Like I said it would be.
Whatever you’re gonna moan about like a bad blert, carry on.
Focusing on the minuscule while ignoring the vast majority is literally point scoring.
The announcement was there would be a period of silence starting and ending with the refs whistle. Not any particular time frame. Kick off was delayed as well with it.
No champions league music, nor the musical accompaniment to YNWA at the start of the match.
Also a much needed win, 3 points and a decent break to get us started at last in the CL.
Plenty of positives, but you choose what you want to focus on. We’ve got the three points - I’m sure you think you’ve got a point.
How about as a mark of respect you get in the bin. forgot what an absolute crapfest this site is when it comes to point scoring.
And here’s the worst one.
He was all over the forums telling anyone who thought it was a bad idea to have a minute silence at Anfield because it seemed inevitable a small number of fans would disrespect it, that they were wrong and on a wind up.
Now that’s exactly what’s happened, he can’t just admit it.
Absolutely pathetic display and sadly, not remotely surprising.
Are middle aged men sitting behind a computer still outraged this morning?

Yes they announced a non defined period of silence because LFC knew the fans would not oblige
They got about 0.5 seconds silence and gave up to save the club further embarrassment

Mourning a woman who died at 96 after living a truly lavish life is just weird. North Korea would cringe at the level of grief propaganda on display right now

Or challenge its scousification of history
