Totally agree Don; Royal is playing too many games and isn’t in my opinion a great RWB, seemed like every chance was falling to him last night and he couldn’t finish a baby’s breakfast. We have Spence and Doherty, who’d both push opposition further back, there needs to be more rotation there.

I like PEH but he’s playing far too many games - Bissouma is a better player and needs to be starting as much if not more than PEH. And Son needs dropping, it’s absurd that Kulu has had to make way for Richarlison when Son has played like a facking clown all season - he can’t control the ball to save his life at the moment.

Spence did well when he came on against Forest, was involved in a couple of goal scoring opportunities immediately.

Teams can double up on Perisic as they know Royal is gonna do nothing, having two wing backs that can deliver will give them a headache.

Honestly believe if Doherty or Spence start instead of Royal we would look a lot better instantly.

yeah the amount of space the opposition give Emerson and Sanchez when they play is ridiculous, cause they know they wont threaten on the ball

I have never been Hojbjerg`s biggest fan but can see why some fans love him, he gives his all and has a great attitude. But all that will not make up for his limitations with the ball, I think he stunts us going forward and is one of the reasons we lack fluidity.

He is a valuable squad member but he should not be undroppable and should not be starting every game, sometimes we need a better footballer in the centre of the park, and Hojbjerg`s game does noticeably drop off with fatigue.

facking hell we are terrible to watch it feels like this awful football will never end after the last 5 years or so.
Conte's style is as bad as Joses imo we all know it relies on the bleedin wingbacks for creativity boring and dated.
So excited when we signed Bissouma, he's a proper midfielder with energy to burn and a creative streak. Poor guy should have gone to Chelsea and linked up with Potter as he has no chance here.
I'm sorry but its another negative manager with a negative mindset we 100% should have gone for Potter as we needed positivity in the way we play but Levy knows best and wont be bothered as at least were in the CL for now.

Levy needed a short term fix after the Nuno debacle, he needed a big name to appease the fans, and on the face of it, it worked with CL qualification.

The problem is, Levy and ENIC have not changed and still refuse to push the boat out and really go for it. We have been left with a short squad yet again, we have several players who are regular starters, who would not get anywhere near the City team, which is the benchmark.

Exactly. Conte talks a good game about rotating, yet is failing to do it. He keeps playing Son and it’s a joke.

The question for us fans to consider is:

Are we prepared to tollerate bad performances with good results?

Because so far apart from last night the results have been good.

I will carry on moaning during match threads but the results have to be positive.

I just want spurs to win at all costs. I’d happily win every game one - nil with one shot on target if it meant we finally won a major trophy.

All our attempts at pretty football have brought us two league cups in 30 years.

Disgraceful for a club the size of spurs.

I agree with the above but as fans we are allowed moan because the beautiful game under Conte is ugly as fook. But when we are in the mood we can play well.
