Im a republican by nature and do not think we should have a royal family. That said I cannot condone the Dundee United fans behaviour at Ibrox today.
A minute's silence is not an endorsement of the institution so should have been respected.
I am very tempted to do some whataboutery on the faux outrage on Twitter. However our fans did in my opinion the wrong thing and won't be defended by me on this matter.
I don't think it was the right thing to do either and wouldn't have joined in, but I'd vote to abolish the monarchy tomorrow if I could.
Would have preferred them to disrupt the silence with United songs if they were to do it, but such is life.
Ultimately it was done because of the opponents and the tribalness of football more than anything else imo.
Although I have to admit I've loved the absolute seethe on twitter.
To quote our former manager, it's a good laugh isn't it?
No biggie.
Everybody's faking it.
From dawn of the game rival fans have sought out rival weak points.
No surprise that the bottom feeders every club has, 'exploits' this.
I've heard Gers fans singing GSTQ for 55 years.
So it's not a Hold The Front Page this happened.
My son pretty regularly hears pee dough taunts.
His CP seat is near the Away section.
We rise above it & corporate apologies are Confederate Dollars.
They're there but worthless.

Should never have retired been run aff ma fvkin feet ever since.
Keeping busy with the outdoor need to be winding down soon tho.
In reciprocation Ivan.
Continued respect for you & your hard pressed NHS colleagues.
I mean that - not a corporate statement.
I was up a hill today.
Very disappointed not to see a group of inner-city kids being hauled about by a venerable reb.
I was greeting all the way uphill.
Nothing unusual there though.
Weans I'm taking next week none too happy.
A 3 day exped but day 1's a gonner cos of Monday.
They're gonna have to do a one day jaunt in Spring to make up.
A niece told me her friend's ma's funeral's aff.
Cos someone more important's funeral was happening.
A bit like sending weans down coal mines & smoking in pubs.
We'll all be saying why did we ever do that?
Celtic have recruited Justin Osagie from West Ham United as the club confirmed a double youth-signing.
17-year-old Osagie has penned a three-year-deal and joins the Hoops youth ranks along with 16-year-old Francis Turley, who has signed from Glentoran. Defender Osagie has also signed a three-year deal and the former West Ham kid has already earned a cap with the U-19s Republic of Ireland team. He will join former Celtic captain Stephen MacManus’ B team, which is also coached by ex-Celt Darren O’Dea. Midfielder Turley will go into Celtic’s Under-18s managed by Stuart McLaren

Gala Fairydean Rovers striker Zander Murray has become the first senior Scottish football player to come out as gay.
The 30-year-old, who is in his fourth season with the Lowland League club, said he made the decision to help others who wish to open up.
In an interview with the club website, Murray said: “(It) feels like the weight of the world is now off my shoulders.
“I also want to help other players who are struggling with this as it isn’t easy for men, especially footballers to deal with.”
There's got to be loads of Pro footballers that are gay.

Yeah it was a 'loan' but the 11 million £ unlikely to be paid back now.
