Agree a bit about Hey Jude but I just think it’s boring rather than bad, especially all that ‘Na Na na…’ nonsense that just never stops

Just think Robert Smith had had a long streak of knocking out classic pop singles since the mid 80s that felt so effortless it was genius.
Even the lead single from that album, High, while it hardly broke new ground for The Cure was just a great pop song.
Then came Friday… which just feels a clunky pastiche of what no one wanted them to become.
They’ve not released a decent record since, unfortunately.

Queen have some amazing songs and some absolutely dire ones, but I wouldn’t put Bicycle Race amongst them.
The weirdest album of theirs for me is The Game. You’ve got some absolutely killer tracks on there. And then you’ve got the likes of Need Your Loving Tonight and the all ends up bizarre and frankly abominable Don’t Try Suicide, which should just never, ever be played ever again anywhere for any reason.
Honourable mentions to good songs I’d be happy if I never heard ever again…

King's of Leon - S3x is on fire.
They were great up until the release of that song and have been rubbish ever since.

It is now. Prior to that they were big on the indie music scene and had three previous albums. I saw them on the main stage at Reading Festival in an evening slot. They had a decent fan base.
Then they decided it was better to be known by many than loved by a few and became a boring run of the mill band.
