Came on a sun at HT and scored 2 in 6 mins. He genuinely could be Raph mk 2. Are we really going in for Gakpo again with Sini and Jack as wide men?

Yeah I like him.

I love Raphinha, without him we were down last season.
But I think this lad could even have more in his locker. I certainly never saw Raph head a ball like that. In fact I've never seen Bamford head a ball like that!!

Roca and Adams could learn a lesson on how to strike a ball from Barrios. Goal and a half from a DM.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Sinisterra get between 15 & 20 goals this season. Hope we can keep him for a couple of seasons.

Agree. Raph Mk 2.

Not as flash as Raph, but just as effective.

Just saw his goals against Mexico…wow! and looking at his stats, he is better than a goal every 4 games and more recently almost a goal every other game…I don’t even think he’s got going yet!

Don't you think there is a degree of over reacting here.

Why?

As steross says, you get the impression he's not even got going yet - though he's already scored three for us, all from outside the box.

Three in two games for his country in the past week & I've not witnessed a player in an LUFC shirt hang in the air like that to head a ball for aeons.

In what way is anyone overreacting? A quality player is a quality player.

Don't know about you but other than brief highlights I have seen little of either the Guatemala or Mexico games. He started neither game which makes me query whether he is as good as you make out. His goal against Guatemala featured a huge slice from his colleague for the assist. Well taken but bags of luck. The headed goal was the result of a great corner, on a sixpence from Quadrado. Well taken but what an assist. Unfortunately Harrison and Aaronson have not shown any of that.
Just a bit previous to talk about Luis being the new Rapha. You need to give it time.

Middle ground for me, almost all goals need either a good assist or a slice of luck. He took them really well… in fact the slice meant the ball would be spinning and a much more difficult finish.

He’s obviously a very good technical footballer and an exciting talent. Is it realistic to expect him to keep banging in goals from 25 yards out at a goal per game? Of course it isn’t. Are the hyperbole a bit premature? Of course they are, history is littered with people making flying starts who get ‘found out’ - But hey better to have a bit of optimism than be trashing him.

At varying levels but all our young attacking talent, have started the season well, which is as much as we could hope for.

I would suggest he didn't start the international games because he's still not fully up to speed regarding match sharpness. He's still not doing badly though!

No matter how a ball arrives at you it still has to be finished. The corner was fantastic yes, but it doesn't detract from how well he hung in the air & powered it home. What a goal!!

Harrison hasn't shown he can deliver a quality ball in the box? Plenty of examples but how about the free-kick for Rodrigo's goal against Chelsea?

Yes it's early days but that's no reason to pick holes. He's already shown more about him this season than James did in the entirety of the last one.

Let's be positive for a change. We have a real player here, enjoy his time at the club 😊

A player reading this sort of stuff about himself will feel more confident than players that have the usual crap thown at them!..

He's showing signs of a top player in the making, long may it continue, if he has a bad day,(which all have at some time!)then he'll get shot, but until then people should be showing support and not making him think twice if he proves to be great and someone else takes notice!..

He, like all, need's time to show his worth, but we have to give him the confidence to do that!..

At last some sense.

He hasnt played well for Leeds.

Yes there are good signs but needs time

Not saying we don't have a player there but to label him the new Rapha after half a dozen or so games seems very premature to me. As for Harrison and dead balls. This season largely woeful.

Agree completely Els

Especially when he’s not played that well.

He isnt going to continuously score from outside of the box, and its clouded people’s mind.

Fans always do this, it’s emotive human nature . Someone scores a good goal and they’re a worldy. Miss a sitter and they’re a donkey. Time to judge sinisterra is whether he’s turning in consistent performances when fully fit and adjusted to the league come January. I’m optimistic about him, but early days.

I look at what he's done for us and think he's had a good start.

He's not like for like raphinha and its unfair to compare in that way, but if he continues as he's started for us in terms of goal contribution he'll have been a good acquisition.

What has impressed me is the lad clearly isn't up to full speed with his match sharpness. Nobody is saying he's going to keep banging goals in from outside the box all season. But the fact is, whether he's been playing well or not, he's already been finding the net which to me speaks volumes.

Time will tell & let's resume this conversation late in the season 👍
