I loved seeing Diego Costa finally getting his testimonial and receiving the acclamation of the whole stadium in comparison with the lukewarm applause ripple several few weeks back to the return of Antonio Conte.
I am still appalled years later by the disrespect shown to DC by AC and the consequential doldrum period caused by the loss of this legend striker.
Finally acknowledged by the Chelsea faithful ... I do believe it meant a lot to Diego hearing his chant over the grounds at the Bridge one last time.

He's a tw@t
Supposed tough guy playing the victim cos Conte had the balls to accuse him of being a problem child which he absolutely was.

He didn't have a problem scoring for us and that's what he was paid to do. And continued scoring for Atletico while were were languishing without a proper striker for so long.
And you were more concerned about Conte's feelings...
Anyway...its all over.... and going by the reception at the Bridge he was very appreciated by most fans present by far.
Tbf I never liked or rated him. Don't like c**ts even if they have your back, and as a player didn't think he was anything special, and his return to Atletico somewhat vindicates that tbh. But he was a very good signing, I won't deny that

When? His scoring record has been chit since he left us.
