The World Cup is going to offer a different challenge for teams, and a lot of City players will probably go a long way in that (obviously not Haaland though!).
You have Leeds and Chelsea away after the WC, plus host Everton, so they could be ones to watch out for.
This really is a season of 2 halves and maybe Pep is thinking about cover if any of our main men get injured in the farcical WC which is why he's rotating everyone except Haaland
I think I would evaluate our chances of beating any records at the end of December.

We actually had the highest expected goals total in PL history in 2018-2019 we just didn't take our chances lol. City actually have quite a poor expected goals total this season, they just have an efficient finisher. If we can bring in a finisher in January then we will be able to outscore you as we have more expected goals than goals if we score them when city have less expected goals than goals also poor keeping from De Gea has stopped us from being above City this season. If we replace De Gea then we should win the league.
