He was certainly a very fussy, over officious referee Tway, very German ,even my wife thought so ,and she's German !........
but.....I think he saw that the AC players were trying it on a lot,he must have lulled them into a false sense of security !
and no, I have no idea what the yellow for MM was for !
According to fotmob "theres a long discusion about the legitimacy of the decision and mounts booked for wading into it unnecessarily"
Looks like it was for dissent then.
Saint , so nice to have a Saint on here,
I lived ,worked, and studied in Southampton in the seventies, and went to the Dell many times, had some great experiences ,especially 1976 ! some of my friends then, are still drinking out on that !
Apparently this ref will be featuring at the forthcoming World Cup.... I think most national managers will dreading his selection for their games.
Thanks HarlequinHebdo god i miss the dell!
That red card was hilarious. Someone on YouTube put a great comment.
"Tomori was reckless & could've seriously injured Mount's feelings"
The Cowherds
...
Its still there! theyve tidied it up a lot in the last few years and the food is decent in there

Tway, I have serious misgivings about this whole WC to be honest, at least the referee last night seemed to be consistent in his own way ! their might well be far worse referees and officialdom ! ! making the news in Quatar ,if you get the gist !

Still a foul, no matter how soft it may be Devil!!
A soft foul, but still a foul......no wonder we let Tomori go !
The problem is that to the letter of the law, the ref was right. But it's a stupid rule. I think it's a penalty, he stops Mount getting to the ball comfortably by pulling him back, twice. But to show a red card seemed over the top. But the ref was awful in general last night.
