can you afford to rotate? .... lose tongiht and then you have most likely required to get points away to Ajax or against Napoli who are flying .... maybe Napoli will be out of sight and play a weakened squad?

I'd like to see us be a bit more clinical than we were last week, you're keeper kept it modest last week. An early goal for us and we could get a few but the longer it goes on and the atmosphere grows the tougher we could find it.

the first 15 mins is crucial.

I think we will try and steam roller you in that first 15mins that was the tale of europe last year. start fast get the crowd behind us get a goal and let the atmosphere do the rest

I think we have to rotate. Hendo and Thiago can't play 3 games in a week so I'd be incredibly surprised to see both starting. Maybe 1 with a view to bringing them off after 60 mins. Matip, TAA and Diaz all injured so there's some enforced changes there. Robertson might be fit enough to start though I expect he'll be saved for City.

Still, the replacements coming in are pretty much all full internationals for European/South American nations so we'll hardly be playing a bunch of reserves. Expect we'll start with a front line in excess of the £100m mark too which will be the difference.

As for how the group plays out. Even if we draw tonight, I can't see Ajax getting any kind of result in Naples, which means we just need a draw in Amsterdam to go through.
