Exactly but the right and it's beliefs attract the thickest humans alive and they can't tell the difference between limitation of free speech and consequences of speech.

You are free to say whatever you want. You are also free to face the consequences of what you say thereof.

One of the initial tools of the party that rose to power in 1930s Germany was to lambast the press. That's the Alex Jones way. It's also the way of many conspiracy theorists. They'll ridicule anybody for reading "MSM" - as if the Daily Expose or Daily Sceptic are the bastion of truth, whereas the Times is making everything up. So freedom of speech is good up to a point but when it reaches a level where confused people (often vulnerable) no longer know what to believe, it needs to be managed. This wasn't a problem before we had such fast media and before it was all about getting a message across in 140 characters. People no longer read the background - just the headline. So when the Daily Record reports on a Johns Hopkins study that deaths in women <50 have risen, it spreads like wildfire that this was vaccine related - even though the study covered a period from 1998 to 2018. Just one example.

Apologies if already mentioned but Jones' lawyer (under oath) when representing him in a custody battle in 2017, highlighted he was a "performance artist playing a character."

He's successfully monetised spouting unfounded conspiracy theories, and in regard to Sandy Hook, caused immeasurable distress and hurt to families who were already drowning in grief. And he will now finally pay the price for it.
