I followed the trial on Twitter, the withering reports from journalists who are normally covering actual, important news events was very funny, imo, they clearly couldn’t be bothered with it but obviously had to for work.

It will be used in media law and journalism classes has an example of a bad use of a defamation suit though, similar to “McLibel”.

So “Wagatha Christie” will have some use in society, I guess?

Though if they got the right writers and satire team together.,could make it brilliant. They’d have to go massively for the jugular though, which may lead to lawsuits from the reptiles involved..
