Much better second half. Arsenal are a top six side, no more, will be lucky to make CL. Bamford should fuqq off back to Specsavers, but Rod and Summerville have a lot to answer for too.

Arsenal were lucky, probably a bit fatigued but Leeds did fantastic, just play like that and score with our rivals please

Arsenal rotated the team that played in Europe apparently

No, we played quite a strong side, only Jesus didn't go at all.

But even if they didn't play, they got back Friday morning, went to Leeds on Saturday so very little rest.

But that's why we need a better squad so really no excuse.

Bamford changed the game, sure he missed the pen and other chances but we bossed the second half because of him. Very encouraging second half, definitely deserved at least a point probably all three.

Who’s hacked your account?

Rodrigo had a great first half until his ridiculous pass but as much of a threat he was, he just doesn’t suit us like Bamford. He’s not pretty but he’s a nightmare and it makes it so much easier for the rest of our players to effect the game.

It was a brilliant performance for a side at our level. We almost nullified Arsenals threat and caused them problems. That’s all you can ask for. Very unlucky.

I am concerned about the style of football under Marsch and really worry about our lack of threat with the ball. But despite the result today was reassuring.

This team isn't going down, all that talk is just nonsense to be honest.

But a pro footballer should never completely miss the target from the spot. Harsh truth is Bamford's finishing has cost us again today.

It's nice to be getting the plaudits for our performance today but I am still cautious in thinking because we outplayed the league leaders, everything is going to be dandy.

Let's just see how we play on Thursday because although we were the better side second half, Arsenal did have an away European match a few days before our game today so they definitely were not their best and we missed a golden opportunity to take advantage of Arsenal's fatigue.

Leicester will be well rested and Brendon Rogers will have his team fired up like we were today so we will see if it was a case of us making Arsenal look poor or as I suspect there were contributing factors that led to our opponents being off key.

Don't think we'll go down but calling relegation talk nonsense is a bit daft. We should have went down last time and we aint that much clear of it .....

Honestly we’ve played two of the top 5 sides and outplayed them both. Of the rest only Brighton could justifiably say they were actually the better side on balance over the full 90 minutes.

So concern over silly mistakes, poor finishing, lack of points , I get - but not sure what the issue is with the style of football that’s playing to the strengths of the players, and competitive in every game.

It's broken record material but, the only thing we
really lack is someone who can find the net.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
but when they do, it gets chalked off! I am sick of the refs this season.

I’m not having Arsenal were tired - you gon’t get much jet lag from Norway, and despite what their fan on here said, it was very much a b team that started the game.

We are much better. But, we cannot finish.

Huge problem.

Add to that, Marsch tends to over complicate.
Example: Rodrigo right wing, Jack false 9. The simple,
yet effective set up should've been Jack LW, Sin RW,
Rod CF. It's hard enough playing square pegs. Don't
create yet more.

In addition, giving Bamford a full 45 was suspect. As
seen by his awful finishing. No, dire finishing. He needs
30 at most right now. Rod made a huge mistake in that
back pass that caused the Saka goal. Outside of that,
he was very good first half. And the team were good
all game.

* Bamford has a fantastic ability to be in the right place,
at the right time so often. And that is brilliant. But, his
pile of injuries and his match rust are causing issues.
He can't finish. He's never been prolific. But, he can be
very good. Very, very good. Ease him back and take the
pressure off him. I undertsood having PB take the pen
today. However, it may have backfired in the short term
with adding yet more pressure to his load.

Talking about relegation and saying we should have gone down last season is funny, because if we should have gone down we would have!..

We didn't and we're still here, I didn't see the game but reading what's been said and seeing the Arsenal 606'ers shouting WTF suggests we had a good game, the player's will watch it again and again, and hopefully, they'll pick themselves up and get on with sorting it out!..

The table also says we've played less than 10 games.

That Arsenal side would have destroyed us this time last season.

We’ve also played Everton, Villa, Palace, Brentford and not created enough. Only in the Brentford game did we create anything on the ball.

And the huge concern is that a side like Palace found it so easy to nullify by changing their style of play to lobbing it between the defence and the midfield.

Like I said today was very reassuring but the narrow system looks to me like it’s making it so much harder for Harrison, Sinisterra, Aaronson, Summerville, Klich etc to be as threatening as they can be on the ball.
