I think everybody is thinking the same as you. Except for the part where everyone else is expecting too much.

I just see people whine and thought they can't be serious. Newcastle are a decent enough team these days and played very defensively too.

The negativity is unreal. We were excellent today, just not clinical enough.

Give him time, look at Arteta for example ffs. Too many fans expect instant results.

I see positives every game. I don’t mind winning anything this year as long as we keep moving in the right direction and signing the right players.

Results and playing style are just temporary metrics in my opinion if they aren't backed up by the right players. Unfortunately I don't think the likes of Malacia, FDJ, Martinez and Anthony will be the answer and I don't trust ETH to bring the players we need to take us to the next level.

FDJ?? When did we sign him

Ten Hag "we have a very good squad".

If anyone has "unrealistic expectations" then there's only one place to look.

Apparently wanting Bruno dropped, a 5x UCL winner picked over Scotlands 3rd choice CB, a 5x relegated player not to be picked over a 4x UCL winner, Rashford not to be picked over a 5x balon dor winner and not being 4 down at half time twice in 8 games is unrealistic expectations.

United fans in 2022.

Just seen he's called Rashford "Rashy"

We literally sent Ole off to get a trim and grow a beard.

ETH is a good coach. He needs to be given at least 3 years in the job before we can know for sure if he's the answer or not. This job isn't a short term fix for anyone.

So it's the same "rebuild" nonsense used to defend Ole.

So if we're needing another rebuild less than a year after he's gone, then is this you're way of admitting he didn't do a good job after all?

Todays match thread had more incredibly stupid people on it than usual, reading through some of the comments on it.

Very few of them have a clue what they are watching.

To me we are pretty much doubt what I expected.

So you were expecting to be 4 down at half time twice in 8 games? And for the manager to pick a 5x relegated CB, Scotland 3rd choice CB and an author to be selected ahead of players that won a combined 14 UCL titles?

ETH is suffering from years of mediocrity pre his arrival, so many performances like today, OT was quiet and non expectant, it isn’t his fault but the problem is in his lap

Ole did a good job with some things and a poor job with others. Our work in the transfer market (which doesn't sit 100% on him either) was ultimately his undoing.

Maguire AWB and Dan James just didn't work out and he's got to take blame for that. Bruno worked well for a while so that one is less clear.

ETH has a very tough job on his hands but so would anyone right now. We are miles away from City if we are being honest and even Arsenal look better equipped now. Stability is key.

Ever since those insulting words everything that goes wrong is on him.

Why are football fans so allergic to accountability?

Manchester United are going nowhere until this mentality of spreading toxic positivity Ole Gunnar Solskjaer infested our fans with is gone. 0-0 with a team on a 67 year trophy drought and all I've seen is excuses for the manager. Easiest job in football.

I'm very pleased with ETH so far given the improvement we have seen after just 1 window.
