Salah was always one that surprised me. I remember when you signed him and thinking he'd tear it up just because he'd torn United apart in the CL the season before. I remember raving about him after. But I think the failings there were probably more Jose related.

Just googled there and it was actually against Chelsea themselves he shone in the CL. It was during a period where Basel seemed to draw English teams every year, so my memory failed me on that one

Salah was rubbish while at Chelsea, De Bruyne wasn’t. KDB was by far the biggest feck up of that time period.
