Don’t know what the worst season was. Pretty much every season in the 90’s you didn’t feel we were going to win the league anyway.
Lennon’s last season going for 10 iar, you could feel that it was always going to come apart at some time. Was pretty spectacular when it did.
Enjoyed MON’s first season as that was the first treble I saw. Stopping the 10-that last game when it finished was brilliant. Just enjoy anytime we win the league.
good of you to narrow it down from anytime we lose and anytime we win mate
That’s pretty much it for me! There’s always parts of the season that are a bit of a chore, even when we win.
And I don’t like seeing rangers fans happy, so don’t like it when we lose.
i'm so glad lawwell is away, transfer windows were horrific with his penny pinching.
Best i'll go with 98-99. Played some cracking stuff and had some outrageous players.
Worst 14-15 edges it as it was a disaster from opening day v Hearts. 11-12 doesn't really need going into.

i don't recall 97/98 being that great tbh.
it was good one we won it, but wasn't an overly enjoyable season, too stressy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From memory we both dared Hearts to win it until quite late in the season. Think we finished on late 60s or early 70s points total from 36 games. We do that these days and the sharks are out

must have been bad if you failed with your man advantage
So Seville for me was the best-worst season. Amazing highs and some brilliant wins, to ultimately end up with nothing was gutting.
Worst-best season probably 07-08 with that old firm game when Naka scored a worldy and VoH headed in a last minute winner. Didn’t think our football was particularly brilliant and there were a few games we were brutal, but winning it at the end was amazing.

interesting that one that we won was your worst.
that was a bit stinking that one, should have been strachans last year but he stayed on and was more schite the next year.
The worst one was them winning the 9th.
It was utterly horrific, then just waiting until they inevitably won the 10..
..but they didn't and we did and then they died.
Happily ever after
The end.
.but they didn't and we did and then they died.

Aye it was bad for so much of it and obv ended well but so many brutal days along the way. Saw us lose at Hibs, lose at ICT (having been 2-0 up) and lose to rangers. It’s the only season I’ve been to a few away games and we lost almost all of them âšī¸

VAR starts this weekend.
Sadly not tonight as it would have been useful in ruling out the penalty for Killie.

Best - Wim
Worst - oooh so much choice!
Not Lennon because that was so predictable and many on here did so right from the start. Barnes was tough but it was banter years for us so not entirely his fault. Still grimace a bit watching Donnelly taking the green pound when his enthusiasm in that era was, shall we say lacking a bit?
I’ll need to think about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you've got either players or timeline mixed up.
Donnelly and O'donnell were sold by Barnes within weeks of his appointment.

Did they not leave on free transfers? Both went to Sheffield Wednesday?
Seem to remember it was a big deal at the time, and there were wee leaflets stuck to the seats to urge fans to not give them stick for leaving.
But they didn’t play under Barnes-that’s correct.
You’re correct - auld bassa mixing it up with Venglos year. Decent squad but it peaked under Wim much like Rangers 20-21.
we won the league in 98 with 74 points
dropped points in more than a third of our league games.
we got more points the year before and lost
Worst season by far was Lebanon’s final tenure.
Who didn’t see that appointment for the disaster it was always going to be?
Absolutely insane decision
